"Seven"

It's the day the pack has been waiting for. Our crowning as Alpha and Luna. Yoongi has been very distant today. Since the night he had his nightmare, I have been sleeping with him and when I got up he wasn't there this morning. I saw him around the house but before I could talk he'd walk away.
Jimin: don't think too much about it, luna. He's probably just nervous. Half the pack is afraid of him being alpha now, it's going to be hard for him.
Y/n: they don't know him, he's not a terrible person!
Sumi: Luna! Why are you yelling?
One of the little pups yelled as she ran up to me. I picked her up into my arms tickling her.
Y/n: because, I become your luna today little one!
She giggled wrapping her little arms around me.
Sumi: is alpha really as scary as everyone says?
Her tone was soft but curiosity was clear in her voice. I want the pups to love him like I do.....
Did I just? "Yep, you did! You love him! Finally!" My wolf yelled. Pushing her to the back of my head I focused on the pup in my arms.
Y/n: he can be, but he's only trying to protect the people he loves.
Sumi: like you?
I heard a cough next to me, it was Jimin trying to cover up his laugh.
Y/n: yes me, but also this pack. He wants all of you safe.
Sumi: he doesn't seem so bad
She smiled and tried to get down from my hold. I put her down and watched her straighten her clothes.
Sumi: I have to go, Luna! I'll see you later!
I smiled waving at her as she ran back to her mother.
Jimin: the pups love you.
Y/n: I can see that, pups have always loved me.
He gave me a smirk and started wiggling his eyebrows. Rolling my eyes I elbowed him in his side.
Jimin: ouch!
Y/n: that's what you get!
I said, then walked off to get ready for the crowning.
It didn't take that long for me to get ready but yoongi's mom had to explain a lot of things to me. Such as; how the ceremony will go, what I need to do, and what comes after. When she finished explaining everything she asked if I saw yoongi today.
Luna: have you seen him?
Y/n: no, he's avoiding me
She laughed patting the back of my hands with her palms.
Luna: it's tradition for the alpha and Luna to be separated from each other.
Oh, it would have been nice to know that before I started overthinking. Even Jimin didn't tell me about this, he went along with it!
Jimin: luna, are you ready?
Y/n: yes
I stood up getting a hug from my soon to be mother and then followed Jimin out to the field. The ceremony has to take place in the moon light and at a specific time. It's that time! I'm so nervous you could probably see my hands shaking. As Jimin walked me over to my spot he gave me some encouragement.
Jimin: breath and focus on yoongi. It will go by fast
He smiled and walked over to his spot as the beta of the alpha. Soon yoongi walked over to me, a serious expression on his face like always. Except when we are alone...sometimes.
Elder: tonight under the moonlight we are joining these two souls together.
He took both of our hands and used a dagger to cut our palms. Our blood flowed out and into a pot in between us.
Elder: as their blood mixes the moon goddess blesses them as the new alpha and Luna of the lunar pack. The protectors of their pack.
Taking our bloody hands he place mine on top of yoongi's.
Elder: yoongi, do you take y/n to be your Luna and to protect this pack?
Yoongi looked at me like he wanted to smile but he didn't.
Yoongi: I do
Elder: do you y/n take yoongi to be your alpha and to protect this pack?
Y/n: I do
I didn't notice it but I was smiling. "You're happy" my wolf said in contentment. Yeah, I am happy.
The ceremony ended with me placing my bloody hand in yoongi's heart and yoongi placing his hand on mine. He was shirtless but my dress was low enough for him to reach it. Next is the celebration for the new alpha and Luna. And what happens after that celebration, well I think you know. Jimin has already said he wasn't coming back to the pack house tonight.
He isn't very subtle when he talks about these things, but then again what guy is?
