As the night went on everyone celebrated our crowning. Mostly the ones who knew us the most were celebrating, the others looked hesitant to get into it. I assumed it was because of yoongi.
Jimin: Luna, Sumi wants to come over. Can she?
Y/n: yes of course
Jimin waved the little girl over. She left her mothers side running up our table.
Sumi: you're my Luna now!!!
Both of us giggled while the little pup was  clinging onto me. Yoongi watched as the little wolf hugged me. You could almost see a smile on his face.
Sumi: did alpha just smile?
She whispered into my ear so he won't hear her. Except he did and now he has his serious face again.
Y/n: he's smiles more than people thing
I whispered back to her but louder than she did. Sumi moved in my lap shuffling her way towards the alpha. I didn't know what she was doing but I didn't stop her. Yoongi tensed up as the pup climbed off of me and onto him. I was genuinely surprised myself. He looked down at her cute face, a smile now on his face. She wrapped her arms around him giving him a big hug. The pack was watching the entire time and her mother looked like she was gonna have a heart attack. Not knowing what to do yoongi picked her up off of him and put her on top of his shoulders. Wow, he likes kids I'm guessing. Gasps were heard throughout the crowed of people. They couldn't believe that the feared alpha would play with a pup.
Y/n: you having fun up there Sumi?
She nodded her head quickly with a giggle escaping her lips. She really is the cutes thing.
A lady came up to me who I assumed was her mother.
Sumi's mom: I'm sorry Luna but I'm not so sure she should be so close, you know what I mean.
My smile faded for a moment at the woman's words. She thinks he's gonna hurt her.
Sumi: momma , alpha is so nice look!
We turned to look at her and saw her messing up yoongi's hair. Wow! Either he's trying very hard to not put her down or he fell asleep. I looked at his face only to see a dazed look in his eyes. Yep, and now it's time to get her off of him.
Y/n: come Sumi, let's get you to your mother.
I picked her up off of his shoulders and handed her back to her mother. She thanked me then walked away in almost a sprint.
Y/n: you alright?
I asked, trying to get him to look at me. But that's when I figured out why he's dazed off. His heat! If he's in his heat that means mine is going to come any second. I took his hand in mine and put my other one on his thigh. A low growl escaped his mouth.
Yoongi: don't do that. I can't control myself
Y/n: I know, let's go before you start attracting unmated wolves. Or before mine comes.
Both of us stood up from our seats and made our way out of the party. Of course I told Jimin what had happened so he could come up with an excuse for our disappearance.
Yoongi was pulling me through the house like he had just spotted a deer he wanted to catch.
Y/n: slow down, love
He stopped, slamming my back against the wall in the hallway. Come on, we almost made it to his room.
Yoongi: do you know how hard it is to control myself right now?!
Y/n: I know, but let's get to your room
He slammed his fist against the wall and backed away from me.
Yoongi: you don't get it! I can feel him trying to push his way out! If he gets out, I won't be able to control him!
Y/n: what are you talking about yoongi?
I tried to step closer to him but he backed away even more.
Yoongi: my wolf! He's the cruel one! Not me!
At this point he had tears running down his cheeks and even though he's yelling, his voice sounds so sad and scared.
Y/n: why is this scaring you?
Yoongi: he'll hu-hurt you!
He let out a sob in between his sentence. He's putting himself through this so I won't get hurt.
Y/n: I don't care! I'm not letting you suffer!
I smashed my lips onto his slowly pushing us to his door.
Yoongi: please, don't do this!
Y/n: you're hurting, I have to
I opened the door and a rush of pain shot through my stomach. Damnit! My heat! Shit this hurts! Yoongi felt the change in my body and immediately came to my side. He held my face in his hands staring down into my eyes.
Yoongi: I'll try to keep him away, but I'm so sorry if I can't!
I shook my head and kissed him. I don't care if his alpha comes out...he's my mate and I need to do this for him. Whether that means I wake up half dead tomorrow.
