"The two first met... let's see I believe it would be around the annual lecture time when all the Clans heirs and disciples came to study under Grandmaster Lan." The women began, Lan Xichen slung over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Lan Liang found it quite amusing how she was treating the clan leader of the clan she just so happen to be living in. (and working?)

"Yīnghuā was, at the time, mostly really only doing cultivation in hopes of getting married into a nice clan. She didn't take it very serious and always relied on either Jiang Cheng or Wei Wuxian to protect her if anything were to happen."

Lan Liang's eyes widened. That couldn't be true! She was strong now!

As if sensing his thoughts, the women snorted. "I know, it's hard to believe at first. But your mother worked hard to become where she is now, and she had help along the way too." The women offered another smile. Lan Liang could faintly see it in the moonlight. "They two met by pure accident." A soft chuckle echoed through the silent surroundings.

"And it was all because of Wei Wuxian.."

"Wei... Wuxian..?" Lan Liang muttered, confused. What did that man have to do with his mother? He faintly knew of what his mother and Wei Wuxian's relationship was but he didn't realize it was so important.

The girl nodded. "He had went to get the invitation since they had forgotten it at the inn they had stayed at. He had been gone to long so Yīnghuā volunteered to go and look for him. While she was looking for him she ran into Lan Xichen." The women's eyes were distant looking, a fond smile on her face.

"So that night Yīnghuā went back to their room with a new crush and a untouched dream."

"And it's all because of Wei Wuxian?" Lan Liang asked again. His eyes held that of wonder. He didn't realize that the man who was hated by all the cultivation world was the sole reason as to why his parents were together and how he and his brother were here today.

The girl hummed, nodding.

"Ah look we are here."

Lan Liang looked up in surprise to see that they had arrived at a small house. It was smaller than the normal home in Cloud Recesses.

"Is.. this your home?"

"Of course~" She sang, kicking the door open and walking in, Lan Liang's father still passed out and hanging limply over her shoulder.

Lan Liang hesitantly followed her inside, weary of his surroundings.

The women laid his father down roughly on what looked to be her bed. She wiped her hands off together, getting rid of any invisible dust on them.

"Come have a seat." She gestured to a low table, pillow seats were scattered around the wooden table carelessly. "I will go and get some tea ready, please don't be shy and make yourself at home." Her eyes twinkled in the dim light. "Your her son, I can make acceptations."
