As I sat on my laptop, lying on my yellow bed sheets, I watched the Sing Now Or Leave video over and over again. How did she get my song? I thought. Who is she? Why did she use it? Why? I had so many questions that were impossible to answer. My face was red and my it felt like there were little people inside my chest banging, trying to get out. My breath was heavy and my patience was running out. I WILL figure this out. I paused and started to panic even more. I was gonna perform the fame breakers talent show! I can't preform now! I'll look like a total copyright ( reminds me of someone )!

"Dawn, sweetie, come down for dinner! We're having Broccoli and Cheese Cassirole! Your favorite." Oh please PLEASE don't let me be one of those nights! Everything in me prayed that it wasn't a night were my mom was so incredibly happy, she acts like an angel and is a perfect perfect role model. I am NOT in the mood for that!

"Honey bunny? Did you hear me?"

"UUGGGHHHUUUHH!!!! YES, MOTHER, I HEARD YOU!" I yelled, very disrespectful, but at this rate, I didn't care on  tiny bit.

"Okaaaaaiii!" We were both yelling across the house. But I wasn't singing to myself like she was. Right now, we were total opposites. Completely opposites.

"Hi, mom. I assume your in a good mood."

"Does it show that much?" When she smiled, her  showed and her bright red lipstick made her teeth even whiter.

"What's the big occasion? You just decided to act nice for once?"

"Oh, don't be silly, you silly goose! I am always good to you, when your happy and sad, okay or angry."

"Gosh mom! Could you just act normal tonight?"

"I am also always normal, an  I know, for a fact, that son  people think that, even if you think otherwise."

"Sure mom, like who?" I chewed and swallowed the delicious casserole.

"Dr. Devialis."

"What? When has he ever said you were normal?

"This afternoon, actually! We went out to  lunch while you were at school. Charming man, really."

"Dr. Devialis? The dentist? Mom, I told you already, hi  personality is in his name: Devil. Dr. Devil...." My mom sighed.

"Dawn, just because  I'm not seeing your father, anymore, doesn't mean I have to be single for the rest of my life!"

"I told you not to bring up dad anymore." My teeth were gridded and my face was sqinched up.

"Well, I did, so eat your casserole and go to bed."

"Fine."

"Fine." I stuffed one more big bite into my mouth and walked upstairs to change. I got into my favorite daisy pjs and went to my room.

"I bet your parents are happy as can be.. No fighting, no leaving the house. Must be nice.." I said to my Jamie Conrage poster. Her winked eye expresses happiness and laughter. I will never quit. I will fight until the end. My life will not stop here. I will journey to the end of the world. Footsteps... - Jamie Conrage read review bottom of the paper. This was from my favorite song of hers, Footsteps, and I read it out loud to myself every night for comfort.

As I slowly fall asleep in my small twin bed, my dream goes like this:

"Hey, beautiful. It's me, Dr. Donovan Devialis the daring dentist. But you can just call me Don." He raised his eyebrow at the woman he was talking to.

"Hey there, Dr."

"How are you?"

"Doing fine, just on my way to lunch. Would you like to tag along?"

"Would I?" The Docter said, excited. When the two adults turn around to head  towards  the restaurant, I saw the ladies face, who happens to be my own mother.

As they sat down at the very convenient, fancy restaurant and informed the greeter they needed a table for two, my mother smiles at him.

"So, Ms. Fingle-"

"Oh, please, call me Reesa.

"Wonderful. Now, Reesa, what are your hobbies?"

"I don't really have time for hobbies, as a single mother, but I do enjoy painting. I would assume yours is dentistry?"

"Nah, that's just my job, simply something to pay for my house."

"Oh, where do you live?"

"Lab gorge drive, which is a few minutes away from the office."

"Oh, yes, my brother used to live there." Don daringly and romanticly rubbed his foot against my mother's. Again, she blushed.

"Have you ever lived out of the country?"

"Well, I was born and raised in Canada, before I met my ex husband." Ring ring. The Docter who theme song blared off and my mother laughed.

"Oh, sorry, that's my assistant. I must take this, one moment."

"Hello docter. This is nurse Mary calling to inform you that you must be back at work in 10 minutes. The mayor is coming and you must n be late. Thank you."

"Thank you!" He said back to her. "I'm so sorry Reesa, but I'm gonna have to leave for work now, it was great talking to you and I hope we can do this again, You really are a beautiful women."

"Oh, thank you! YES, does Saturday sound good?"

"Absolutely! I'll pick you up at 6:00pm."

"Bye!"  they hugged then left. I woke up, sweating. What just happened? I thought. It was just a dream... Just. One. Dream. I fell back asleep, this time not dreaming of anything.
