~The next morning, Y/N had spent it preparing how she would end her one year relationship with Kai.
As upset as she was that she knew she had to end something that was going so well, she also knew she wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of her days with Fushiguro.
It was around noon when she finally got the courage to go to his room. When he let her in, he automatically knew something was wrong.
"Please don't tell me we're about to have that conversation." He sighed as she sat on his bed.
She lightly bit her lip, "I'm so sorry Kai."
"Why? Why would you want to end something that was going so well!?"
She stayed silent.
Kai's shoulders fell, "It's because of Fushiguro, isn't it?"
The girl continued to stay silent as she only nodded her head. She wasn't going to lie and say it wasn't.
"And I know this'll only make things worse but I kissed him. More than once. So please, if you have any angered feelings, keep them on me. Megumi didn't do anything wrong." She confessed.
"Didn't do anything wrong? This guy has had it out for me the second I started showing interest in you. And more recently, he wouldn't leave you alone! You literally told me just last week he was nothing to you! That he was your past and I'm your future!"
"I dont think you should be raising your voice when speaking to a girl." A voice intervened.
They both looked at the door and saw Fushiguro standing there.
"Megumi? What are you doing here?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I heard yelling. I figured it was coming from this room." He reached his hand out and wiggled his fingers, "Cmon, Itadori told me to come get you so we could all have lunch."
Y/N stood up and looked at Kai, "I really am sorry Kai. I hope we can still be friends."
She grabbed Fushiguro hand and they walked away. She awkwardly gazed around, not really knowing what to say since she knew he heard what Kai said.
She puffed her cheeks before looking up at him, "I didn't mean it. Just so you know. It's just, he was worried about-"
"I know." He interrupted her as he gave her hand a light squeeze, "I know where I stand with you. That's all that matters."
"Right. So, where did Yuuji want to have lunch at?"
"I don't know. He just said he knew a really good place."
