I thought you might have a hard time reading a specific name here so here's how I pronounce the character's name:
Hiram: hay-ram

And to top it all off, I even forgot what happened last night. At the bar. The guy I was talking to. I forgot his name even though I'm sure I asked for it. I forgot his face although I'm sure I tried to stare at it to remember him.
"Of course, you like me. That's normal."

What kind of person have I become? I sounded so boastful and egoistic and vain. Kung sino man ang lalaking 'yon, siguro, na-realize n'ya nang hindi n'ya na ako gusto.
Who would want a girl who thinks everyone likes her? And that it's not impossible that everyone likes her?
Napamura ako sa isipan ko at lalo yatang sumama ang mukha ko dahil sa naisip.
"September Elizabeth, what's with the scowl?"
Agad akong napahinto sa paglalakad. I scowled more and I snapped my gaze up to the giant guy in front of me.
Okay. He's not a giant. He just looks like a giant to me because I'm standing at four foot eleven and he's somewhere above six foot.
I frowned at Hiram Nicholas and his annoying smirk.
"Move, I'm not in the mood." Umirap ako.
Hiram chuckled and he fixed the way his thin sleek glasses rested on the bridge of his nose.
"Definitely obvious," aniya at ngumisi lalo bago ipinatong ang kamay sa ibabaw ng ulo ko.
