35.) MOMENTS

Shushant leanedback in his chair, smiling slightly when he saw her biting her pencil in between her lips in nervousness and trying to focus on the file he had given her to work on.

He could see her clearly behind the wall but she can't. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable but couldn't help but to keep looking at her.

Two weeks back, she called him sir.
It hurt him a little not gonna lie but he knew that he deserved it. And since then the interaction between them remained totally about buisnedd and work.

Few tendrils of her hair fell on her face. The  evening orange sunrays falling on her  coming from the adjacent window  was making her side profile attractive.

His gaze moved to her hair. Which seems fascinating .

He kept hi elbow on the desk and leaned his head on his hand. And smiled a little more.

In theses two weeks I noticed that I like seeing her and doing nothing, is it weird? I never felt this with shikha then what is this feeling.

I sighed and continued observing her a little more.

कीतनी प्यारी लग रही हैं। हैंना?
(She is looking so pretty. Right?)

Hmm

कीतनी?
(How much?)

बहुत
(So much)

It was then I realised to there was some one kneeling beside my chair so that we are on the same level.

In the same position I'm sitting with his head supported on the hands and eyes full of mischievousness. Looking in the same direction I was gazing at and then turned to look at me.

"MOKSH!!!"
I  stood up

"What the hell!!" I hissed and I hurriedly took the remote and swithed off the button so that the wall turns opaque from both the sides once again.

"क्या भाई, why did you stop it ? I want to meet my sister in law"
(What brother?)

Moksh whinned and then burst out laughing.

"Enough moksh"

and then I realised apart from moksh Laksh is also standing here
With his arms crossed on his chest leaning on the desk.

He smirked and walked up to me as I stood up and gave me a hug.

"What you guys are doing here?" I asked with a bored expression

"Oh common brother , we missed you also we really wanted to meet our dear भाभी, after all you are keeping her all to yourself.
Let these poor souls meet her." Moksh ehined and made an expression which was supposed to make him look innocent and cute but believe me I would rather see a monkey.

I rolled my eyes at his drama and sighed.

Laksh just shook his head and chuckled.

I lead them to shradha's cabin and knocked .

I opened the door and saw her look at the door wide eyes and the pencil still in between her lips

FUCK

As I opened my mouth to speak I stumbled ahead as moksh pushed me a little aside and stepped inside

"Hello भाभी I know it his man here sust have not said anything about me but let me introduce myself.
I'm moksh and this is my twin brother Laksh and we are your देवर ( Brother in law) and also it's so nice to meet you , you look so lovely. By the way sorry we couldn't come at your wedding , there was some emergency here .  And oh yes how are you? You know that day in the hotel. But don't you worry. I took care of it..those men have paid. ....but why are you not speaking anything...say something ...are you alri-"

And moksh couldn't continue because Laksh finally slamed his palm on hos Mouth. Stopping his blabbering.

Laksh sighed nad smiled at shradha

"Hi, myself Laksh
We are shushant's cousins.
It's very nice to meet you " Laksh introduced himself and smiled warmly.

Moksh continued slapping laksh's  hand to free himself

Laksh looked at his brother

"And I'm sorry about him. He is just too dramatic" he sighed.

Shradha looked at them with wide eyes in shock because all this happened so suddenly and then a minute later she smiled and cracked out a laughter.

I smiled seeing her smiling and laughing this way for maybe the first time ever.

Ahe continued laughing and seeing this Laksh freed moksh and we three smiled at her and exchanged the looks.

It's been two hours already since we four are sitting the living room at the mansion.

We had returned home together and shradha insisted to cook for them amd they couldn't help but agree at the offer .
We three had helped her in the kitchen and finally the dining table are set up and we are digging in.

"So shradha how are you liking it here?" Laksh asks shradha

These three are already on the name basis.

They are already liking eachother's company.

And glad they do.
Seeing shradha smiling feels good.

I was in my thoughts when I moved my legs and felt them touch something soft under the table and it felt good. But I didn't understand what it was so to I started touching it with my toes slowly. It was then I realised what it was and  when I was going to look down to confirm it I saw shradha's expression.
She was red and had suddenly stopped talking.

I stared at her and she looked up me and held my gaze. Then suddenly stood up and walked away saying she will bring some juice for everyone.

But she forgot that the juice was already kept here

Ii smiled. Feeling my own ears turn pink.

"What happened brother?" Moksh asked me , nudging mu side

And he winked with that stupid teasing smile. Wigglling his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes at him while he just laughed and I focused on my dinner.

I haven't written it yet but I promise to update tomorrow   as an compensation for long absence.

Next chapter will also bring the couple together.
