3 years have passed and Alix has only grown more beautiful each day. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were very excited for their daughter because tomorrow was her 4th birthday. They had a whole party planned. That night Mrs. Miller was putting Alix in bed. "Mommy tewl piggy tory." said Alix. "Yes Alix I'll tell you the piggy story." said Mrs. Miller. She started telling the story but by the time she got to the part with the wolf Alix was already asleep so she stopped, kissed Alix goodnight and left.

The next morning Mr. and Mrs. Miller woke up really early to put up the decorations. A few minutes later Mr. Miller went to go fetch the cake while Mrs. Miller was on the phone with Alix's friend's parents. "Don't worry Kathy I made sure to ask for a gluten-free cake." argued Mrs. Miller. Later on Mr. Miller came back with a big box in his hands. He put the box down on the table. Suddenly Alix came running down the hallway. She jumped into her dad's arms and he picked her up. "Good morning birthday girl." said Mr. Miller. "Come honey let's go get dressed." said Mrs. Miller. She takes Alix to her bedroom to help her get ready.

"What would you like to wear Alix?" asked Mrs. Miller. Alix walks to her open cupboard and grabs a dress. The dress was pink with little flowers around the waist and on her shoulders. "Oh you want to wear this one, ok." said Mrs. Miller. Mrs. Miller helps Alix put the dress on. Mrs. Miller then picks Alix up and takes her to the bathroom so she can brush teeth. After she finished brushing teeth, Alix sat on her bed while her mom brushes her hair. She gave Alix a cute little ponytail to go with her flowery dress.

A while later Mrs. Smith and her son Cameron showed up. "Hey Martha how are you?" said Mrs. Miller. "Hey Jane I'm good how are you?" said Mrs. Smith. "I'm good, w-what are you doing here, the party only starts in half an hour?" asked Mrs. Miller. "Well I came to...James is that you!" screamed Mrs. Smith. Mr. Miller turns to look at Mrs. Smith. "Oh hey Martha." he said. "Anyway I came to help set up the decorations." said Mrs. Smith. She let go of Cameron's hand and he ran down the hallway to Alix's room. He walked into her room. Alix was sitting on the floor playing with the little cars her dad bought her. "Ello Alis." said Cameron. Alix turns around and looks at Cameron. "Ello Tamwon." said Alix. Cameron sat down next to Alix and they played with the little cars.

Half an hour later Mrs. Miller calls Alix. "Alix your friends are here!" she shouted. Alix drops the car and runs to the living room. Cameron follows her. "Ello!" she screamed. All her friends screamed back. "Ello!". In her head Alix was reciting her friends' names. "Jat (Jack), Mite (Mike), Chesey (Chelsey), Lesa (Lexa), Asley (Ashley) and Lute (Luke).". "Ok everyone come stand around the table and sing for little Alix." said Mr. Miller. All the kids (including Alix) went and stood next to their parents. Mr. Miller opened the box and inside was a beautiful cake. It was a chocolate cake covered in bright pink icing with a red number 4 candle in the middle.

Everyone started singing to Alix. When they finished singing Alix blew out the candle with one breath. Mr. Miller took the knife and cut the cake. He gave everyone a piece of cake. Alix and her friends ran down the hallway to Alix's room to go play. Alix went to her toy box and took out all her friends' toy cars, yes her friends' cars you see every time one of them come over they would choose the same car to play with and Alix already knows which car is who's. Jack gets a blue car, Ashley a pink, Luke a red, Mike a green, Lexa a yellow and Chelsey..uh well she almost never comes over since her parents are always to busy to come drop her off so she doesn't have a favorite car, but Alix knows her favorite color is purple so she took the purple car as well.

She throws all the cars on the floor in the middle of her room. Everyone takes their car from the pile, everyone except Chelsey. She was waiting for Alix to give her the elephant teddy they used to play with when they were 2. She then realised that the purple car was hers. She took the car and looked at it. While her friends were playing Alix went back to the toy box to get her own car, it was black with red strips on the sides. She took her car and sat on the floor with her friends. As soon as Alix started playing with her car Chelsey jumped up and ran out the room. Everyone got up and ran after her. "Mommy mommy!" Yelled Chelsey. "Yes honey?" said her mom. "Mommy Alis is a boy!" Chelsey said. "Honey Alix isn't a boy she's a girl just like you." said her mom trying not to laugh. "But she plays with cars!" Chelsey answered. Her mom turned around and looked at Mrs. Miller.

"Alix plays with cars?" she asked. Mrs. Miller nodded. Chelsey's mom took her daughter's hand. "Chelsey say goodbye to your friends, we're leaving." she said. Chelsey turned around. "Bye bye." said Chelsey while waving to them. Her and her mom started walking towards the door. "Katherine why are leaving so soon?" asked Mrs. Miller. "Because Alix plays with cars, honestly why would you let your daughter play with cars, she's a girl Jane she should be playing with dolls!" yelled Katherine. Chelsey looks at the purple car in her hand. When her mother looked at her she hid the toy behind her back. Katherine opened the door and left.

"Alix why don't you and your friends go back to your bedroom and continue playing." Mrs. Miller said. Alix and all her friends went back to her room and continued playing. Mrs. Miller sighed and sat down on the couch. "Don't worry Jane it wasn't your fault." said Mrs. Williams, Mike's mom. "But it is my fault, I shouldn't have given Alix a toy car." said Mrs. Miller. "Jane you know how Katherine can be, I mean if you ask me she's possessed." laughed Mrs. Jackson, Ashley's mom. Everyone started laughing.

The next day was the same as any other, Alix gets up, she eats, she gets dressed, she brushes her teeth, her mom brushes her hair and she goes to school. After school Mr. Miller was parked across the road from the school entrance waiting for Alix. a Few minutes later the bell rang and all the kids came running out. Alix waved to her dad and ran across the street but what she didn't know is that there was a truck driver who wasn't paying attention to the road and...uh hurt Alix. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.

In the hospital Mr. and Mrs. Miller were crying, the nurse was trying to comfort them and the doctors were trying to save Alix. After two hours of trying to save poor Alix one of the doctors finally entered the room. He had a big frown on his face. "Would you like to say goodbye?" he said. Mrs. Miller burst into tears. Mr. and Mrs. Miller walked into the room. Alix's body was lying on the bed. Mr. Miller gives Alix a kiss on her forehead. "You're in a better place now." said Mr. Miller. Mrs. Miller grabbed Alix and held her tight. "Alix please don't leave us, you are the only child I care about, please stay!" yelled Mrs. Miller tears running down her face.

Suddenly she felt something move in her arms. She looks at Alix who slowly started opening her eyes. "Mommy?" she said. Everyone was shocked. "She's alive, it's a miracle!" yelled the doctor. "Alix!" shouted Mr. Miller. They both hugged her. "Let's go home Alix." cried Mrs. Miller. "Sorry mam but do you mind if we keep Alix here for a few days to run some tests?" asked the other doctor. "I almost lost my daughter and you want me to allow you to run some tests on her, you are mad if you think that's gonna happen." said Mrs. Miller angrily. Mr. Miller agreed.

The nurse, who overheard the whole conversation, walked in. "She didn't say a word. She went to Alix and started taking of the wires attached to her. "What are you doing!" yelled the doctor. "You heard her, she isn't allowing you to run tests besides the girl is perfectly fine." she answered. The doctor was getting very mad. "How would you know, you're not even a doctor!" he yelled. Poor Alix closed her ears so she won't hear what is happening. "I was before but I then decided that I'd much rather be a helper, I just didn't think I'd have to be the helper for a person as stupid as you." she said. She picked Alix up and took her to the changing room, Mrs. Miller following her. She helped Alix put her own clothes on. "Thank you for saving me." Alix said to the nurse. "Your welcome my angel." she answered. When she was all changed into her clothes the nurse picked her up and carried her out followed by her mom and dad. The nurse told Mr. and Mrs. Miller to get into the car and she'll drive them home.
