Noel Smith had a nosebleed, in the middle of the school hallway full of people.
He hated to think about it in such an embarrassing moment, but he found it pathetic what a simple smile from Shana could do to him, and his mind started to wonder about what would happen to him if they ever held hands, or hugged, or kissed or made lo— okay, that's too far. Maybe he would faint, or simply evaporate, or worse, his entire body heated up and grew red that it was not able to hold back from blowing up. A bit dramatic, yes, but that was just the way his mind worked.
Some people who realized what was happening turned their heads, some others did not give any care and continued with their activities. After all, it was just Noel, pretty much a nobody. Those who noticed him, either gave him a concerned look or held in their laughter. And at that moment, Noel never craved Samuel's presence more than ever.
He was about to run away to save the last bit of his non-existent dignity when the last person he wanted to show his bloody nose to was standing right in front of him. Her naturally beautiful shaped eyebrows pinched together in worry.
"Are you okay, Noel?"
How could someone's voice be so beautiful? Does it have anything to do with the face? God, my name has never sounded so good coming from someone's mouth before. Now I wonder how good it would sound like in bed when she— wait, she knows my name?!
"Noel?"
Of course she knows. She literally knows everyone, you're not that special, dumbass. It was only a formality for her to know you.
The voice of his name being called stopped his mind from wandering too far. He stepped out from his daze and found her eyes drowning in worry and curiosity.
"Here, take this to wipe off your blood," said Shana, handing him her handkerchief which he gladly took from her hand, brushing his with hers a little which somehow caused him to bleed even more.
"I think we should take him to the clinic," Grace said as she scanned Noel's bloody shirt. "He is bleeding too much."
Aanya rolled her eyes, "yeah, we can see that, Grace."
Noel shook his head no, "you don't need to. I can go there by myself—"
"Dude, you just stepped into the hallway for less than five minutes before you started bleeding. We're not taking the risk to let you go by yourself," Orlando looked at him in amusement.
"But—"
Before he finished his sentence, he felt the collar of his shirt was grabbed from behind. "You better do as they said or I'll have you picked up, lil guy," Rio's voice and words definitely gave him a shock and fear. For someone so tall and big, he definitely could easily pick up a somewhat lanky 6'4 guy like Noel. He nodded frantically, not wanting to anger the already scary big guy. Rio gave a small nod and without saying anything or waiting for the others, he walked off the hallways, dragging poor Noel by the collar with him. This managed to gain more attention from the curious students around the hallway, but no one dared to stop and ask, knowing Rio would not like to be bothered and talked to.
