Lisa was done cleaning the mess when her doorbell rang. Love who is currently eating barked at the door, the party hat is still in his head. (It's still not Jungkook's birthday but she wanted to see her babies wearing the hats. It looks cute, to be honest.)

Lisa smiled. Having a dog is really convenient. If someone broke in, Love would just strangle them to death for her.

Hehe.

She went to the door without checking the intercom, thinking that it's just a delivery from the online shops she's been browsing.

But no.

After opening the door, much to her surprise, Jungkook is standing there gloriously with a wide smile on his face with a backpack hanging at one of his shoulders and a paper bags in his right hands. His arms are wide open, ready for a hug.

What. The. Hell.

"What are you doing here???"

She exclaimed without thinking, making Jungkook lose his wide smile. Oh no! He misunderstood!

"You don't want me here? It's fine, sorry for disturbing you--"

"No! I'm just shocked! I'm sorry. Please come in."

Her face turned sour as she glance at the state of her living room. The balloons are scattered on the floor, just like the original plan. The hanging and wall decorations can't be possibly ignored. The glowing colorful lights are on since she's testing it just now after feeding her fluffy buddies.

It's all set, to be exact. The timing is just...so bad.

Jungkook look at her with scrutinizing gaze before smiling again as he quickly crushed her into a suffocating tight hug.

"Oh, wow! You missed me so much?"

"Is that even a question?"

"Of course it is!"

He entered the room. Though both can't walk properly since Jungkook is still hugging her as they took steps and his face is buried on her neck. He can't still see what's with her living room.

Is that a good thing?

"I brought my gifts for you. You should open it. I know you'll love this-- what the??"

He finally saw her place as Lisa awkwardly smile. He looks lost for a moment before his gaze stops on her.

"You came at the wrong timing, Jeon."

"Oh. Should I leave and come back tomorrow? Take two??"

Lisa laughed before tipping her toes to give him a peck on his lips. Jungkook looks lost again, his eyes wide open, and his whole body becomes stiff.

"Advance happy birthday, I guess? I love you."

His eyes became tender after hearing her. Lisa smiled as she look expectantly at him. He's still in shock as he tried processing her words.

"Y-you...did you know how anxious I was since the very first day of our relationship? You never said "I love you" to me. I thought, y-you don't love me. I-I thought you're n-not--"

"Hey, stop overthinking! I'm not saying that three words often to make it feel special when I say it. Is it effective?"

"Super effective, doll. I love you so much!"

Jungkook smashed his lips on her, kissing her with full of love and passion that made Lisa feel like he's already sucking her soul from so much devotion.
