Sick days

You laid in bed, starring at the ceiling

You arrived home late last night and it was pouring

Unfortunately you forgot to bring an umbrella and you were soaked head to toe

The next day you found out that you had a mild fever

Checking the thermometer that was currently in your mouth, you saw that temperature was getting higher by the second

Struggling to get on your feet to replace the now warmed towel to a cold one

Stumbling slowly towards the kitchen you saw huggy watching the tv with a fascinating look on his face

You smiled gently, the expression on his face was quite adorable as you find it and you couldn't help but stare for a bit

Huggy noticed your presence as he happily hunched near your height

Since the ceilings were a bit low he has to squat to get to your level but you didn't mind whatsoever

Petting his head gently, he made a soft purring sound

Leaning towards him, laying your head on his soft chest was relaxing to you

He purred a bit more which made you want to fall asleep

Huggy noticed your sudden tiredness as he picked you up gently, making sure you're comfortable in his arms

He brought you to the couch as he cradled you in his arms

You felt safe that you were being held, after letting huggy into your daily life, you couldn't feel anymore happier

You snuggled close as you felt your eyes getting heavy and your thoughts get drowsy

Opening your eyes you checked the time

It seems like you were asleep for hours

You looked up to see that huggy seemed to have fallen asleep as well

You knew he didn't had to sleep but he probably felt comfortable as well

The room felt hotter as you went up feel your fore head

You were burning up and you have completely forgotten to take your medicine and place the towel for your forehead

You tired getting out of his grasp but he just kept on making it tighter and tighter

"Huggy.." you quietly whispered, it was enough to wake him up and look down at you

Turning his head to the side slightly it reminded you have a curious puppy

Petting him again, you tried getting on your feet again but with fail you nearly ate the floor

Huggy caught you just in time

"Huggy..I have..to.. take my medication.." you smiled weakly

Everything felt hot and the room started to spin which was giving you a minor headache

Although huggy didn't know what was happening he started to get worried for you

He made a sadden grunting sound as he nuzzled his head towards your neck gently

"Huggy..kitchen-..please." You said barely a whisper

After the few months of living with you, huggy had memorized every room so he knew exactly were you had to go

He picked your small frame up and crawled towards the kitchen

There you saw the towel that was on the sink countertop

Gesturing that he needed to stop there, he monitored you while you slowly made the towel wet again

Setting the towel down, you went to go check the medicine cabinet

You groaned softly as you completely forgot that you placed the pills at the back of the cabinet which requires you to use a stool

You struggled to get the bottle as you felt that you were being lifted up

You face towards huggy as he held you by your waist and lifted you up higher

This was perfect you thought, as you managed to reach the pills without a break of sweat

Huggy lifting you down on your feet again, you went to get a cup from the drying rack and filled it up with tap water

Popping the pill in your mouth and drinking the water

After you were done you reached for the towel and got carried back to the couch

There you sat in huggy's arms with a cold towel on your forehead

You can already tell that your fever was getting better thanks to huggy
