TOKYO, JAPAN
ONE YEAR LATER

The actual gala is happening. But now more and more people are starting to hate on everyone who has powers, and all the civilians are trying to take them down.

Why? They're only focusing on the bad. I decide to look at the good. It's been a year since I've seen my baby brother. I wonder how he's doing. I trust he's fine.

I finally hit a hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube, and got more and more known. I smiled at my success. Only thing I was upset about is that I only got famous because my brother got powers. Not me.

I guess now I can finally go to the gala. Only problem is they made it private this time, because the Conjurers, Infinity Watchers, Angel Sentinels, know that more people hate them now. Ever since the total blackout.

I don't. I forgave them for accidentally killing Ma. They were blinded, and accidentally shot. I don't blame them. I'm not saying I would've as well, but I just can't bring myself to hate them.

I dressed up for the gala, and pretended to be a Conjurer who is a hero, and not a villain. I could also just sneak in, but that's plain stupid. Before I left, I thought of all the possibilities, and realized I'd logically need help if I wanted to do this.

I called my brother thousands of times, and he never picked up. I hate it when it's like this. When siblings part- I never thought we would. Then I heard my phone ring.

My eyes widened. Besides, if I can get my brother included, my success rates would be higher. They would definitely let me in if I was his sister. Although, nobody else knows about his powers.

Which concerns me, because then I'd have no idea on what plan D would be. Plan A, attempt fraud. Plan B, sneak in. Plan C, use my brother. Plan D... wait for something special to happen.

I quickly picked up my phone, and answered the call.

"Hey bro, how've your been?" There was a few second pause. "You're only calling me because you want me to help you sneak into the gala, right?" He said, as his eyes were piercing my soul, and looking into my true intentions.

Guess he called Poker and won.

"You mad about that?" I asked. Genuine question, by the way. "No, just disappointed. It's in downtown Tokyo, right?" I nodded. Then we talked about actual friendly news, talked about the plans, and got ready.
