Jisoo's POV

I'm going crazy right now. My whole office is on fire and Lisa is in hospital. I want Lisa to be okay. I can't lose her, please God!

"Jisoo, everything will be fine. Please calm down." I heard Jennie said caressing my back.

I didn't said anything. It hurts to know that my loved ones is hurt.

As soon as the car stopped in front of the hospital I run in the hospital. There's a lot of paparazzi, I pushed past them as they are trying to ask me questions. I go to the receptionist who is startled by seeing me.

"Ms. Manoban--" I was cut off by a female doctor.

"She is in ICU. Come with me. By the way I'm Dr. Kang." She said as I nodded only and followed her.

We are in the elevator, when I asked her, "Doctor how is s-she? She will be okay right??"

She sighed heavily, "I don't want to give you any false hope. She is severely injured. Someone repeatedly hit her head with something heavy. She is very lucky that she didn't went in coma, but her condition is really bad. A group of college students found her laying in a alleyway all bloody. They admitted her."

I bite my lip hard to stop myself from breaking down. This can't be happening. I can't lose her, she is the only one I have.

As soon as the door opened I speed walked towards the ICU with Dr. Kang. My heart ached painfully and tears started to fall when I see Lisa laying on the white bed, bandage wrapped on her head, various wires are connected to her body and oxygen mask.

My legs becomes jelly as I walked slowly towards her. I told her hand as gently as possible in mine.

"L-Lisa.. pabo wake up.. I'm sorry for not listening to you. Please wake up Lisaya.. see it's me." I sobbed holding her hand.

I heard Dr. Kang told the nurses to wait outside before leaving me alone with her also.

I felt her fingers twitched then her hand hold back mine. I looked up at her, she is awake but can't speak because of the mask.

"Oh! Let me call the doct--" she hold my back tighter and trying to remove the mask.

"No Lisa.. don't do that!" I said trying to stop her but she shake her head barely as 'no'. She removed the oxygen mask.

"Ji-Jisoo I a-am sorry. I should ha-had listen to you. I-I became b-blind by l-lust and f-fake caring. Aghh!!" She started to breath heavily as her gripped on my hand become tighter.

Fresh tears formed in my eyes as I called for the doctor. "Doctor! Doctor please check Lisa!!"

Dr. Kang immediately run in with the nurses as well as Jennie, Soojoo and Irene.

"What the hell!! Put the mask on right now!!" Dr. Kang yelled. Nurse tried to put it on but Lisa keep on denying.

"Lisa please put it on. You will be fine. I can't let anything happen to you!" I said crying.

"Noo!! I kn-know I don't h-have much time l-left.. J-Just listen to m-me please.. Y-you ne-need to be careful, I c-can't be here to protect you-- Mmmghh!!" Lisa said but her breath becoming more shorter, the heart rate getting down so Dr. Kang put the oxygen mask on. She still started to thrust around in pain. I can't see it. I felt Jennie hold my left hand tightly, trying to calm me.

"I need to inject the medicine, I think the internal hemorrhage become more severe right now. Please clear the room, I'll give report as soon as her condition become a bit normal." Dr. Kang told us.

"I d-don't wanna leave her." I said moving closer to Lisa.

Jennie and Soojoo stopped me. "Please Jisoo.. let them do their work. Lisa will be fine." Irene said trying to sound assuring.

I nodded, looking back at Lisa, who is now calmed down a bit after injecting the medicine. I noticed Lisa is staring at me as tears rolling down her cheeks. Her hand trying to hold mine again.

"Ms. Jisoo please, go out of the room." Dr. Kang said as Jennie tried to pull me out.

"Jisoo please let's go now." Jennie said.

But I moved closer to Lisa holding her hand again. I don't know why I keep feeling like this is our last talk.

Lisa sobbed a bit louder painfully. "Don't cry Lisa. I love you. I'll not let anything happen to you." I said, kissing her hand.

"I l-love you Jisoo.. just remember that I w-will.. always l-love you." She voiced out those words in very difficulty, before she slowly fall unconscious.

"Let her rest for awhile Ms. Jisoo. Come with me, we need to do some hospital formalities." Dr. Kang said, walking out of the room.

I kissed her hand one last time, before wiping my tears and turning around to leave the room. I saw Soojoo give me a small smile before walking out of the room with Irene. Jennie is still hold on me, she give me shoulder a light squeeze as I look up at her I can tell she is about to cry but holding it back.

"Let's go now." She said shortly avoiding eye contact with me.

We walked out of the room. She didn't uttered a single word. I know she is shocked and hurt because of the revelation that I love Lisa. She was keep on trying to win me back.

We are in the elevator already, the atmosphere is thick in tension. I need to talk to Jennie, she must have think that I lead her on.

"Jisoo-"

"Jennie-"

We both called each other at the same time.

"Umm.. you say first." She said, glancing at me.

I cleared my throat, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disappoint you or lead you on. I.. I love Lisa. It happened after my accident and those time when I'm away from you, with her."

I heard her sigh. I look at her but she is looking away from me.

"Jennie.. I'm really sorry.. hope you'll forgive me." I said feeling guilty.

She turned around suddenly giving me a sad smile. "Isn't it call karma? When you loved me, I totally ignored it and you were hurt. Now, I understand how it feels to be rejected."

I don't know what to say. She wiped her eyes then hold my hand hesitantly, "I promise you. No matter what, I'll be by your side even if as a friend."

I can only nod in my response. I was about to speak but the door opened.

"Let's go chu! And don't be sad, Lisa will get well soon!" Jennie said, trying to cheer me up.

Love is really a strange emotion.
