"Listen up you twat!" I yelled. "WHY CAN YOU NEVER ACT LIKE NORMAL WIZARDING FOLK FOR ONCE? WHY DO YOU ACT LIKE THIS ALONE, AND THEN, SO DIFFERENT IN PUBLIC?!" I screamed.
He looked at his feet.
"Say something, Malfoy." I demanded.
He sighed deeply and looked up at me with a blank expression. I've had enough of this ferret.
"Whatever this is- it's over." I said, walking back into the party.
That's it. He didn't even try to stop me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been a week. I haven't quite spoken to Malfoy. I take the couch, no matter how uncomfortable it is. He doesn't even try to speak to me. I don't understand what tf he's trying to do.
Then out of nowhere, he came up to me, when I was sitting on the couch, holding two glasses of firewhiskey, sat down beside me and handed me one.
"What do you want?" I seethed.
"Look, I've- been at my worse lately. I- don't know the easiest way to say this, but my father is trying his hardest to pull a few strings." He sighed deeply.
"W-what is that supposed to mean?" I asked, still not looking him in the face.
"My- father wants me to marry someone- pureblooded. He's been sending letters to me. But since the war, he's lost all power at the Ministry. I- don't want to lose you. I want to be with you. But I'm just worried my father might succeed in getting me a pureblooded witch."
THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.
I sighed and wrapped my arms around his neck, and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"We'll figure this out together. But promise we'll be together in public." I said, making eye contact for the first time in weeks.
"I promise." He said, smiling for the first time in weeks.
We clinked glasses and spoke for awhile, mainly about the N.E.W.T.S and stupid faculty. We hated the new Arithmancy teacher, Professor Warbeck. He barely knows what he's doing.
Draco suddenly stood up, wrapped his arms around me and carried me to the room. He gently put me on the bed, and lifted my face by my chin.
"May I?" He asked. I nodded, and he crashed his lips onto mine, instantly making electricity run through my body. I've never felt this way for anyone.
At breakfast the next day, we walked in holding hands. Draco pulled out a stool for me. We began on some food.
"You've got some cereal- just there." Draco said.
I tried to swat it off, but failed miserably. In response, he gently placed his lips onto mine, picking up the cereal and swallowing it.
The whole Slytherin table was looking at us. Murmurs passed through, to the Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors. I noticed Theodore laughing like an idiot.
"Yes, we're dating." Draco smiled, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
DRACO'S POV
I entered our dorm at a random time that day, because I had forgotten my quill set back in there.
I entered to the last thing I wanted to see. Ever.
Theodore had Y/n pinned onto the wall and was kissing her passionately. Y/n's hands were tugging at Theodore's hair. Theodore looked like he was going to suck Y/n's whole face out.
Please tell me this isn't happening.
