Ch12:Lilith

꧁𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚁𝙳 𝙿𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙾𝙽'𝚂 𝙿𝙾𝚅꧂

It's Monday meaning Luz will spent all day with her used to be mentor and she's actually nervous, she dosen't know how to face Lilith yet more importantly that the day she'll also spent an entire day with Hunter and Eda are nearing close.

Anyways Luz just wore a purple hoodie and a simple black jeans and came downstairs."g-good morning."she greeted.

"Good morning Luzifer."Lilith greeted back and returned to sipping her tea."are you ready for the day?"she asked still glancing at the girl who rubbed the back of her neck nervously."y-yes ma'am."

"Good why dont you later joined me picking up some mushroom later after you had your breakfast."she said taking another sip of her tea, Luz nobbed her head and went to the kitchen.

She basically understand if she is giving her a cold shoulder after all she did any unforgivable things to her and her sister.

After eating breakfast Luz had joined Lilith to pick up some mushroom outside, Luz dosen't really know why she needed it for but she'll just keep her mouth shut and continue picking mushrooms.

After it seem to be an hour the two finally filled 3 baskets with mushrooms, Lilith was kinda sorting it out while Luz continue to stood there quiet. The silent was killing Luz and she knew she had to do it now.

"Lilith..."she called and the woman response with a hummed not facing her, Luz took a deep sighed before rubbing her right arm."Lilith I...I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry about everything ive done especially when I put you and ms. Eda In danger."she said clenching her fist as her expression darken."I know I don't deserve your forgiveness and you have the ever right to get mad at me but I'm also thankful that you all still took me in after everything I've done."Lilith just stood there frozen as Luz continue.

"But if you ever asked me to leave I'll leave cuz-"Luz eyes widened when she was immediately pulled into a tight embrace, tears begin to escape they're eyes as Luz hugged her back.

"I was never mad at you, I never was. I was just sad that you almost lost your way."Lilith said as she slightly tighten her embrace on her."and when I saw you drag yourself to the depts of the ocean and suffer, I know I'm to blame here too."

"No mom, it was never your fault...I let him blind me with false belief that no one will ever care for me only him but now I know."Luz said as she pulled away slightly and looked at her mother figure eyes."I now know that you and the others are there for me caring, thats why I'm sorry."

Luz cried on her shoulder, Lilith was surprised when she heard Luz called her mom and she was really happy as she see her too as a daughter. The two stayed liked that for a moment till both pulled away and wipe the tears away."it seem like it's getting late now, shall we go home now...Luz."she said not calling her Luzifer now which made Luz happy and nobbed her head helping her carry the baskets back to the Owl House.

The moment the two returned to the Owl House everyone can't feel the awkward tension anymore instead they can feel the vibe of a mother and daughter bounding between the two.

Luz had helped Lilith with everything like cleaning, cooking and washing dishes. Luz spent the rest of the time playing with King and talk with Vee, they are actually talking about the glyphs but Vee told Luz that Hunter is more of an expert to that.

Night came by and everyone was already done eating dinner, The Blight's went back home, Willow, Gus, Boscha and Skara all did the same too.

Luz washed the dishes and after that she returned to her room, she sat on her bed and looked outside the window as the blue sparrow landed on her lap which made her chuckled and pat it's head and it chippered happily.

"Your right stupid bird, things are getting better. I just hope nothing will go wrong now."she said looking down at her wrist that has the burned mark from the water chains before.
