Friday, today is Friday which means today is the day Amity's turned to hang out with Luz and she's really nervous but anyways,,, Amity decided to take Luz out for a picnic as that would be the best way for her to catch up with Luz.

Already arrived at the Owl House with her siblings who keep teasing her about the pink haired girl, Amity was as red as a tomato she actually changed her hair color too which her mom didn't know about it yet. No one in the entire Boiling Isles know about Luz's returned and it's only been 2 weeks since she returned.

She was just about to knock when the door suddenly opened and came face to face with Luz who's eyes widened and glistened with sparkles."your hair..."Luz spoked staring at her amazed.

"Oh yeah, I just figured that I could try something new for a change you know."Amity smiled slightly blushing, Luz was also blushing and scratched the back of her neck awkwardly.

Luz was wearing a simple purple shirt that is tuck in in her green baggy jeans. Amity is wearing a red sweater and a black skirt.

"Aw mittens is all ready for her first date."Emira teased causing the two to blush and looked away."take care of our sister Luz."Edric said, Amity felt like she already had enough embarrassment for today and just grabbed Luz by her wrist and begin to walk away from them.

Amity didn't notice it earlier but Luz was carrying a case with her, a violin case to be exact and she dosen't know what for.

"So where are we going?"asked Luz looking at her from the corners of her eyes."somewhere it's just me and you...picnic I mean."she replied blushing and Luz blushed too but flashed her with a gentle smile which made Amity's face turn more red.

Upon finally arriving at the hill, Amity set the picnic blanket on the ground and the basket on the middle. It was actually a peaceful day especially the place there on to.

"Mind telling me why you carry a violin?"Amity asked and Luz looked at her then at the violin."oh well I took advice from Lilith on how to uh well..how to impress someone and well she suggested this."she said showing the violin to her.

"I actually just borrow this yesterday or more like stole it but anyways wanna hear me play it?"Luz suggested looking at Amity with a tint of red on her face. Amity was surprised but smiled gently to her before nobbing her head in response.

Luz sighed and smiled too before she stood up and took a deep breath then played the violin. The melody was beautiful like it was telling a story to her and Amity smiled as she slightly sway her body to the melody, it felt everything around them was hypnotized by the magic then Amity noticed something.

It was Luz's hair, it was glowing yellow but it wasn't like last time she saw it but instead it was like a glowing gold. Her eyes sparkles seeing such beauty exist and her heart skip a beat. It soon ended and Luz sighed before clearing her throat and sat down.

"That was beautiful, what dose it call?"she asked and Luz scratched her cheek."I named it fairytale...kinda tells a story of the one I like."she said, Amity expression slightly darken and looks away."oh."

"Anyways wanna eat something? I baked some cupcakes thought you might love them."Amity said forcing herself to smile, Amity actually felt her heart ache when she heard she liked someone else if only she knew that that someone was her."sure I've never had a cupcake before."she said which surprised Amity.

"You never did?"she asked looking at Luz."yeah but it won't hurt to try eating one now right?"

"Yeah here."Amity opened the basket and handed her a cupcake which Luz took happily and take a bite. Amity saw Luz eyes sparkles and watched eat a couldn't help but giggled to how cute her reaction is.

They spent the entire day talking, eating the cupcakes Amity baked and then taught Amity how to play violin and even play tag your it.

The sun was now slowly setting down but Amity nor Luz wanted to go home yet, today was so fun. So fun that Luz really enjoyed it and is looking forward to doing it again.

They watched the sun set, finally it was night and both lay down on the blanket looking at the stars."I really have fun."Luz was the one who break the silence first then Amity."I really have fun too."

"Thank you Amity."that took Amity by surprise and looked at the pink haired girl beside her."I never experienced this before and I enjoy the time I spent with your friends, especially you."she said, Amity dosen't what to respond to that and just said."your welcome Luz."

They spent another half an hour star gazing and even naming a few till they finally had enough and decided to head home, Luz decided to walk Amity back to the Blight manor.

It was a peaceful walk and both are blushing hard as they felt they're hand brush against each other. Both really want to hold hands but dosen't want to make things more awkward. Finally at the doors of the manor both looked at each other.

"Well here you are...I really had fun hanging out with you."Luz said trying to keep cool."I had a lot of fun hanging out with you too."she replied and there was a moment of silence.

"Uh sooo...I should better get going, have a good night."Luz said and is about to walk away when Amity stopped her."wait Luz I forgot to tell you something."

"What is..."Luz eyes widened in shock, Amity just kissed her on the cheek again and Luz looked at her."good night and be careful on your way back."Amity said then hurriedly went inside the manor.

Luz was left standing frozen there not noticing someone was already spying on them earlier. For a couple of minutes later Luz walked her way home and it took a few minutes of processing till she sat down hugging her knees.

Her face was really red cant believe she kissed her again but on the same cheek, this day is really just one the best experience Luz had and she can still feel her heart skipping a beat.
