"Hey Shuichi!" I heard a familiar voice calling out to me. "Hi kaito" I said in a soft voice. "You ready for the new school year?" He continued. "Well I don't have a choice do i?" I said while awkwardly laughing. "You didn't sleep enough last night did you?" He said while crossing his arms Infront of me.

I knew I couldn't lie to him since the dark circles under my eyes were clearly visible.
"Well... Maybe i didn't sleep exactly that much." I said while smiling weakly at my best friend.

*Ding dong ding* the school bell rang symbolising for the students to find there classroom." Well come on shuichi we don't wanna be late at our first day!" He said excited as he grabbed my arm."slow down the bell just rang we have plenty of time." I claimed. But that didn't stop him from dragging me inside the building.

He then suddenly stopped which resulted me bumping into is back. "Kaito?" I asked. He didn't answer me. "Kai-" I began again before he grabbed my arm again and started walking fast to our classroom. When we reached our classroom some of our classmates were already there. Kairo ran over to them to greet them but I just sat down not really wanting to talk to anyone.

Why did he stop in the hall earlier? That was wierd. I'm gonna ask him later about it. I suddenly heard a voice call out. "Shumai!" I turned around and was greeted with a kiss on my forehead. "What are you doing?" I said not too surprised probably because I didn't had the energy to scold him.
"Well that's a thing couples do or not?" He said definitely louder than he needed too.

And that of course caught the attention of our classmates. "Shuichi you're dating kokichi?!" Kaede called out in shock. Yep now everyone definitely heard it. "No of course not he is just lying again." I said while looking back at kokichi. "Oh well that makes more Sense." She claimed and came over to me. Kokichi gasped offended and whined out "ow akamatsu-chan that hurt." "And shumai I thought we had something." He spoke as he wiped a fake tear.

*Ding dong ding* the school bell rang and with that the lesson started. The next 45 minutes felt so long mainly because I still couldn't get my mind off, of that what happened in the hallway earlier. I don't even know why it bothered me so much but it did and I wanted to know why he stopped.

*Ding dong ding* the bell rang again. "Finally" I thought. I got up and walked over to Kaito. "Hey kaito" I said. "Hey Shu what's up?" He replied. "Uhmm.. soo I was wondering earlier in the hallway you were acting a bit weird w-" I got cut off by him saying "ahh the hallway right yeah do you mind talking about that later? Maybe after school... at your house?" "Sure that will work" I said while smiling.

I don't know why I was smiling on the outside cause in the inside I was panicking Kaito over at my house?! I mean he has been over but I don't know it's different now and I didn't had the time to clean my room this morning!! "Ok great!" I heard him say in between my thoughts.

So this was the first chapter I hope you liked it because, I have the second chapter finished and I will put it out by the end of this week or beginning of the next week. I'm not sure how I'm gonna continue this story but I'll hope I'm gonna come up with something.
