Chapter - 1

Amelia Romano's POV

Finally, I am back to my home land. After 10 yrs of my living in Italy, I am happy that I have returned to Seoul...the place I was born and thrown to the orphanage.
The place I suffered in my childhood until I turned 11. The place which gave me my adopted parents at least for 7 years. The place which taught me to be strong and brave in all the situations and not let anyone treat you cheap like a poop.

I was back from my trance when one of the trusted friends and our company's director which has a branch in here, of my parents (one from the Italy) was calling my name holding a big banner in his hand mentioned, "welcome home Amelia"

I smiled at the old man, more like around 50 yrs old, who was already having a big wide smile on his face. I walked to him with my luggage.

"annyeonghaseyo, I am Kim Tan and I will be helping you here in all the way" he said and bowed me.

"Annyeonghaseyo ajusshi, and I appreciate if you never bow to me as I am very much younger than you, also you can treat me as one of your family members if you would like to" I said smiling at him.

"I will be glad considering you as our family Ms. Romano. Shall we go now?" He asked.

I nodded a yes in his direction as he took my bags and we walked to the car which was parked in front of the entrance.

We got in the car and the driver started the car to where I don't know yet.

"Many things have changed in past the decade. But, it's a good change" I said looking around the buildings while we were driving.

"Yes...many things happened. And look at that, that is your company which you will be joining from tomorrow" ajusshi said pointing at the big building consisted of 50 floors or so, when the driver slowed the speed of the car just for me to look at our company properly.

This is the company which my parents established before they died 5 years ago. They were met with an accident 3 years ago near outskirts of Milan. Even though that accident didn't seem like one, but the case was closed as a single car accident- which happened to be the break malfunction (as per policia).

After their death, I was helping to look after some of their business in there, even though I was 18 years old, I was given the full knowledge about how to run our business from the year after which I was adopted to the Romano's family. As of now, my brother, i.e., my adopted parents only son is looking after who is three years elder than me, Alessandro, in short Alex which I call him. He sent me here to take care of the business which is currently running under the son of this ajusshi- whom I have never met- but heard that he is very strict when it comes to business, which I really appreciate about.

Even I don't like going easy in the matter of business. It should be perfect in all the matter, not slacking off with our stakes that must be maintained.

As of now, I will be working as COO, which I will be joining tomorrow. I didn't want to snatch away the work and position of the CEO- ajusshi's son- as I don't mind about what position I am in, but I just want to work peacefully and raise the stocks of the company.
