It's been 8 days already since he left me to his overseas business trip which I don't even know what it is about. Even though we talk whenever he is free, but I can't get this feeling of him not being here next to me during the day or in the night wrapping me with his strong arms.

I wait for few minutes, but I don't get the reply back- which is strange. Always I used to get the reply in fraction of a second, but today it's weird. Thinking that he might be busy with the work, I drift into my sleep.

I wake up to the loud knocks on my bedroom door, looking around to check the time. It's just 6 in the morning and Se-ah will not be awake till 7:30. Then who is this?

Instead of wondering in my mind, I wrap my robe, tying around my waist and open the door to see the distressed Ryker- Tae's second in command, in Mafia and also the company's acting CEO.

"Did something happen?" I ask him worrying about Tae being hurt.

Is that why he wasn't replying back to me?? Please God! Let him be safe. I pray mentally for his safety.

"No... I mean yes. It's about the company" he says rubbing his nape.

By hearing the 'company' word from him, all my sleep which was still lingering in my eyes shooed away in an instant. "What happened to the company?" I ask edging my voice.

"You know the Richardson and his company was to come after two weeks, but they have preponed it for today" he ruffles his brown curly locks with his fingers frustrated.

"Oh! But why all of sudden change of their plans? And they have to meet Taehyung to confirm our deal right?" I ask him confused at their sudden arrival.

"It was, but right now even though, I am the acting CEO, you know what is needed for the company and what's not. So, I assure that you are capable of doing what is best for the company" he smiles at me which is not reaching to his eyes, also the way he is acting is totally different from the Ryker that I have known.

I didn't put much to his change of behaviour, letting slide for today. As I had a plenty of work to do in just 1 and half hour. "I will prepare the presentation then" with that said I rush back inside opening the laptop on the study table and start to prepare the presentation.

After an hour, I was at the end of completion of the presentation and I heard my door opening. "What are you doing in just a robe wrapped around you??" I hear Se-ah freaking behind me.

I turn around closing my laptop looking at her sleepy face- who was still yawning. "One of the clients of us, are coming in..." I pause before glancing at the clock, "in an hour. So, preparing the presentation" I inform her as she settles herself on the bed.

"Then are you planning to be sitting right over that chair with that flimsy robe and chatting with me? No, right?" I shake my head negatively, "then go, get ready and I will accompany you, even though I am an internee in your office" she smiles, walking up to me and pulling me up from the chair and pushing me inside the bathroom before she closes the door, leaving me to get ready.
