"I have thirteen days to leave this town?" I asked my Dad angrily.
"Xavier, haven't you graduated high school? And you have always wanted to come to California ever since, so what's the problem now?" My Dad asked.
"Dad my name is not Xavier, its Spencer, fucking call me Spencer." I spat.
"Watch your words Spence," my mom warned.
"Mom tell Dad to give me more time, I have been training over here already? Why do I need to rush down to California?" I argued stubbornly.
"Spencer you like boxing right?" My mom asked.
"Yes mom," I said.
"Great you need more practice if you are going to go further, you are venturing into senior boxing soon. I think you need more practice dear," my mom said.
"Mom! You know why I don't want to move that quickly, what will I tell them huh?"
"Tell who?" my dad asked confused.
"His friends" my mom said waving that away.
"Wait you made friends? Since when?" my dad asked grinning.
"Ever since I entered Greenwood high" I said.
"You were there for like what? a year? And you made this certain friends you are concerned about leaving?"
"Dad!" I yelled. "They mean a lot to me" I explained.
"Are they not going to college?" He asked.
"They are, but all there applications got declined. They are working on it Dad. Just give me one month please."
"Xa- Spencer, you are coming to California in 2weeks time and that's final." My Dad dismissed, standing up walking out of the room.
I sat there defeated, "what the hell am I going to tell them now" I said grumbling.
"That you went off to college", my mom suggested.
"They didn't get accepted in California, it will hurt to hear that I got accepted mom I didn't even tell them am applying."
"You got Lucky, your dad applied for you, they should keep trying there luck" my mom said.
I scoffed.
"Hold on, are you trying to tell me that till now you still haven't made your choice on which boy you love?." She asked.
"Mom! I have, I love them both, can we not talk about that now. We have serious issues at hand." I said nonchalantly.
"Spence! You need to make a choice, stop stringing them on, its been 4months already. Geez." She yelled.
"Mom! I am not stringing them on, it's only Kole who doesn't know our relationship pattern, I will tell him soon." I said.
"Oh, josh is aware?" She asked shocked.
"Yah" I said... The door bell rang.
"I will get the door" she said standing.....
"Its josh! Spence". she called.
