Today I'm finally going home.
I'm feeling much better, I still have headache and I still have to get used to not having all ten fingers and my leg, but with the help of the therapy I can now walk well with the prosthesis, although I still limp, but that doesn't bother me that much.
My psychological problems are another topic. We found out the things that are triggering my episodes are mostly loud noise's like loud bangs or something like that. When I have my episodes I'm like back in war and I see all the terrible things that happened to me in war, wich often trigger depressive phases, but I continue to go to therapy, it helps me to deal with what happened.
Right now I'm at the airport and looking for my dad. Of course I spotted him in his uniform. I walk over to him "Hey dad, I've missed you." and hug him. "Hey son, I've missed you too. How are you?" you see my dad is the only one who knows what happened to me, no one else knows about it. My mother and I never really had a good relationship with each other, so I didn't tell her, because she don't care about me. I also didn't want to tell my little sister, because I didn't have the heart. I have always been her protector and I couldn't bear that she sees me in such a vulnerable state. "I'm doing better and you?" "Always the same." He tells me and smile a little bit.
We are driving in his cruiser and I ask him "How is Bella?" "She is doing good, I think." "You think?" "Well you see she is married now to this Edward guy and they have adopted a child." "Hold up" a say shocked "My baby sister is married and has a child?" "Yes, the Cullens are a very friendly family and she is very happy with Edward and Renessme is a very sweet girl." I feel so bad. I missed so much of my sister's life. What a brother am I? "I don't know what to say. It's a little bit much to take in." "I know it's much to take in right now." I nood and look out the window.
When we got home I went upstairs to my old room and unpacked my things. I went downstairs afterwards and asked my dad "Can we go see Bella? I really miss her and it would be nice to meet her family in law" he smiled at me "No problem son, I will call her and than we can go" I 'm very excited to see my baby after all this time, but I'm also nervous what she will think about the "new" Ben.
