Chapter 25 : Dastan E Naveen

I made some changes in Naveen's background story keeping in mind, LRL's original plot. I hope this won't offend anyone's feelings...

Lag ja gale ki phir
Ye hasin raat ho na ho.....
Shayad phir is janam main,
Mulakat ho na ho....
Lag jaa gale...

Radio was just contributing its part to the silence wandering around the home... Rajveer was busy in cracking some codes where as...Naveen was in kitchen preparing dry fruit milk for his Gudiya

Naina - " lag jaa gale..."
She kept humming the song....

Naveen entering her room,
" Tu kabse itni purane gaane sunne lagi? Tujhe toh woh BTS wale baabu pasand the na...unko chod di? "
He teased...

Naina - " Bhaiyya, naye logon ko pasand karne ka matlab yeh nahi ki purane ko bhool jaaye... " saying this she changed the channel and let the air got mixed with pop songs...

Naveen closed his ears as it was too much to bear,
" awas dheere kar... aur phehle yeh bol ki tune Rajveer se baat ki???..."
His Mumma Bhai mode got switched on...

Naina thoroughly looked at her bhaiyya, his face was calm....
" Batati hu, lekin promise karoo kal subhah haldi wala dood nahi pilavoge aap!..."
She forwarded her hand..

Naveen - " theekh he..."
He made a promise and promises are meant to be kept...

Naina - " unhone phehle kuch bola nahi...chup rahe...bhagh gaye..."

There again the gossips went in air after years... It was their daily business. he righteously knew about all the boys who proposed his little doll. And she kept a list of girls who dared to confess their feelings for her Hero Bhaiyya... after joining army their life turned almost upside down...
But,
whatever happened in past, it was done. As she heard from Vivaan, may be her bhaiyya had his own reasons to perform those heartless deeds... She believed her bhaiyya with her tiny heart and hoped he would never break it...atleast not intentionally...

Naveen making her drink milk,
" fir .."

Naina - " fir bole main apke saath rahun. Unke..." she rotated her eyes to find the words,
" unko Baby ko nahi dekhna..."
She managed to fix the lil disaster...

Naveen who didn't see her facial expression got offended,
" yee jhoot na bol paglii... woh kabhi bhi aisa nahi bolega... point pe aa aur aage ka bol...
Shaadi karega ki nahi tujhse?..."
He tried to be strict parent..

Naina - " Shaadi ka toh unhone kuch bola nahi Bhaayu... bus yahi kaha ki yeh sub saaf ho jaaye toh dekhlenge...."
She kept her truth safe..

Naveen - " kyaa dekhlenge? Kisko dekhlenge? Woh toh bahot khush hua hoga na... bataya nahi hoga pagal ne..."
He chuckled maintaining a rough posture

Naina - " woh toh he... Bus kabhi kabhi bahot stupid sochlete he. Pta nahi kisne Captain banadi unhe..."
She intentionally threw a joke to know other's reaction

Naveen - " Aise math bol. Poore army chan ke dekhegi toh bhi us jaisa Sipahi kahi na milega tujhe...."
He warned with sharp gaze...

Naina - " Yeh bhi he. BHAIYYA... maine suna tha ki aap dono ne kayii baar ek dusre ke liye goli khaayi he.aur...."
She tried to melt him in talk..
