As we entered route 101 I was amazed by the teams on Pokemon already greeting us! But I could not battle one because blade left.
"Huh?"
I heard something!
"Kimmy! Get down!"
"What? What is it?"
"A battle!"
A trainer and his beldum were fighting a magnemite. He barked out orders so fast the beldum could not keep up!
"Beldum, takedown, now confusion, takedown again!"
"Bel-beldum! BEL-!"
It got hit by the magnemite's thunder shock attack and went down!
"What!? You're weak! You should've dodged that!"
The trainer ran to the magnemite and threw it at the beldum! It was magnetically attached to the little steel type!
"James?"
I jumped up and ran to the trainer!
"Hey! Hey, you! You should treat your Pokemon better than that!"
He put the beldum's pokeball in my face,
"What use is a Pokemon that can't fight!? It's not mine anymore!"
He dropped the pokeball and smashed it!
"Take it if you want, I don't care!"
I held back from punching in the face with all my strength,
"All Pokemon have a potential! You should have gave it a fighting chance!"
The trainer walked away without hearing my words! I turned to the beldum, and pulled out the pokedex,
"Beldum, the iron ball Pokemon, it floats by generating a powerful magnetic force that runs through its body,"
Kimmy used the pokedex on the magnemite, also,
"Magnemite, the magnet Pokemon, the units on its side generate antigravity energy to keep its body afloat,"
I put mine away and grabbed the beldum,
"Relax, I'll separate the two of you,"
"Let me help!"
Kimmy grabbed the magnemite and I grabbed the beldum,
"One, two, three!"
We pulled as hard as possible and eventually the two started pulling apart!
"Just... A little... More...!"
The two jerked apart and the beldum gave me a good smack in the head!
"James!"
Kimmy threw the magnemite away and ran to me. I woke up a little later, and the beldum greeted me with kimmy,
"Beldum-bel!"
"James, you're awake!"
"The magnemite...?"
"It left a long time ago,"
"And beldum?"
I saw it was there and smiled,
"Your trainer was wrong, you know. You are not weak, you were at a disadvantage,"
"Beldum, bel-bel-dum,"
I couldn't tell what it was saying, but I took a guess,
"You want me to train you? Then next time we meet that trainer well show him otherwise!"
i pulled out a pokeball, and held it out,
"Beldum!"
It excitedly hit the button and was pulled in... The ball sealed and became my partner,
"Thanks, beldum!"
"Wow! And beldum are hard to come by! Lucky!"
We laughed and kept walking,
Unaware that blade saw everything... And knew i would accept him back when he was done training himself...
I made a new friend...
