We left Mr. Briney's cabin and traveled toward rustboro city. There, the first gym awaited us, ready for a battle! I caught any Pokemon that I haven't caught before, and kimmy just laughed. We trained a little, at our half-way point. We finally entered the city and walked to the gym,
"Ready james?!"
Kimmy said as we stood at the entrance side-by-side.
'Of course I am, kimmy! Lets do this together!"
We both pushed open the doors and saw that there was nothing there... Only desks and a lady at the front desk.
"Ah, hello! Ready for class?"
We looked puzzled and saw we were the only ones there!
"What class? James, what's going on?"
"I think I know...! That's Roxanne!"
"What!?"
Roxane laughed and said, "indeed!"
"And she is the teacher at the Pokemon school... She probably has this set up to be like the classroom...!"
"And there's more!"
She said as she set down two tests on the desks and pencils next to the test!
"What!?"
Kimmy was still shocked, and nothing made seance to her, at the moment,
"Uh oh...! A test!? She really likes being a teacher!"
"Yup! Now, take your seats and complete the tests! If you pass, then you can battle me! If you fail... You'll have to attend the Pokemon school, next door, for a whole day!"
We were both a little scared by the deal, but I nodded and agreed to it, and kimmy did, just after me.
The test appeared to be simple at first, but it was more than we first thought!

After what seemed like house we handed in our papers and Roxane started grading them... We got nervous when she wrote the grades down... And when she handed them back to us, we got A's!
"Woop!"
"I knew I had it in me!"
Roxane seemed a little upset, however,
"Y-you two passed my test with flying colors...!"
The door behind us opened and we walked in to see the stadium... It was huge, and covered with rocks and sand!
"Wow!"
We both said with much excitement! The. Roxanne held up a badge toward us, it was shaped like a hexagon, with both sides pointing like arrows in both directions.
"This is the prize, the rock badge! I have one for each of you! Now, then... Who will battle me, first!?"
We stopped and looked at eachother as we thought... We were considering flipping a coin, or battling eachother first,..
... Then i had a great idea...!
