Draco sat in the common room waiting on Pansy to make an appearance as he did most mornings. He tapped his fingers vigorously on his lap as the time seemed to click away on the clock placed on the fireplace wall. The early phases of their relationship seemed to come sheepishly to a close, Astoria had been a close nip part of their group but Draco never expected her to enter the common room that early. Astoria took a seat on the couch beside Draco, she played with her silver rings that were placed tightly on her fingers before she took a moment to look up at the platinum blonde boy. "I'm sorry" she said almost intelligible to Draco, Draco looked at her with cold, stubborn eyes thinking on how to properly answer this altercation, however it didn't mean much to him knowing the only thing on his mind was Pansy. "It doesn't really matter, Astoria. What is done is done, no changing the past. Besides I've always had my eyes on someone else." He says soullessly. Astoria wasn't stupid she knew, she was already plotting ways of how she was going to tell Theo how Pansy had been cheating on him as well. "Well, I should get going." Astoria proclaimed before standing up and leaving the common room. Her heels clicked against the stone floor as she made her way to the Astronomy Tower knowing that's where she'd find Theo Nott. As she walks along the never ending staircase, she spots the dark-haired boy standing near the landing looking out into the distance. "So, I have some information I think you'd like to hear." She says carefully so that she didn't startle the boy. Theo turns from the trance he had been stuck, he looks at her with his chocolate brown eyes before speaking in a gruff tone, "I'm listening." His interest seemed to peek as he was intrigued by whatever information that Astoria had collected. "So, I saw Draco in the common room, he may have let a little secret slip that Parkinson and him have a little Rendezvous going on currently." Astoria tells him this private information as she watches his fists begin to ball up in pent up rage. By this time, pansy had made her entrance into the common room finding Draco alone on the common room couch. She walks over ruffling his hair around a bit before laughing hysterically as she managed to startle him a bit as he didn't hear her enter the room. "One of these days, you are going to give me a literal heart attack, love." He says warmly as Pansy sits down on the couch beside him laying her head softly on his shoulder. "Now we can't have that now can we." She say brushing her plump lips against his cheek. That's when the common room door swung open entering a pissed off Theo and a very smug Astoria. "What the hell are you playing at, Parkinson?!" Theo walks over screaming at Pansy, he grips her by the collar of the shirt she was wearing. "Theo, let me go you're hurting me." Pansy whimpers as her eyes had turn to a look of pure terror. Draco stands ups quickly the anger across his face was pretty prominent as this point, he snatches Theo's shoulder causing him to let go of Pansy who had rushed farther into the corner away from the drama. "She said let her go, you were hurting her." Draco yells at Theo gravely still gripping Theo's shoulder aggressively. "If she wasn't such a slut, I wouldn't have to punish her now would I." Theo laughs rather hostilely. The searing rage had taken over Draco the next incident happened in such a flash Draco hadn't realized his fist had connected with Theo's jaw. The fight itself was pretty brutal, Draco managed to walk away with minor scratches as he had broken Theo's nose as Astoria shoveled him to the hospital wing. Pansy sat alone in the bay window of the common room, Draco walked over towards her, "I'm sorry, Pans." He says apologetically rubbing his hand through her soft hair. "It's okay, you were just protecting me, but sometimes I suppose he's right. I'm a whore, this whole time I've used people just trying to feel love but it was in front of me this whole time." She says looking up to him as the tears fell from her eyes. "Sh-, nonsense you're not a whore Pansy, you were lost and that's okay we all are a little lost sometimes." He reassures her gripping her small hand into to his large one. "Come on sweetheart, let's head to the great hall for some breakfast, how does that sound?" He says rubbing his fingers along her palm. She smiles jumping from the bay window, "Thank you." She says in almost a whisper as she follows him out of the common room. Entering the Great Hall, it was bustling with students of different years. Taking their usual spots as the Slytherin table, they spot Blaise and Mattheo bullshitting at the table. They all sat around the table laughing at Mattheo jokes as the four always had, it was almost euphoric when she'd realized she'd be spending Christmas with her four best friends. "Draco, I need to go run by Potions to drop off a essay to snape, would you like to come?" She says making sure it was fine with Draco if she went. "I think I'm going to stay here with the guys for a bit, is that okay?" He asks, pansy nods her head before standing up bidding the group her goodbyes before walking towards potions. As she walked down the corridors, she couldn't help but feel as if she was being followed. She heard a classroom door creak open, as she turned her head to look at the noise she felt herself being drug into a empty classroom. She tried to get the rag covering her mouth but everything went black. Pansy layed in a pool of red, then he noticed her, he cried for her, but why didn't he do those things before?
