EPILOGUE: The Seed of a New generation

Natsu told Happy to move on ahead as he stayed back in order to solve whatever it was that was annoying Lucy. The pinkette then approached the blondie with a concerned expression and held her dearly by both of her shoulders. "What's wrong, Lucy?" Natsu asked.

"Eh? N-nothing..." Lucy replied. "It's just that... This trip made me realize something very important about me"

"Ah? And what is it?"

"Well.. That even with all of the crazy stuff we've been through since the day we first met, I can't stop thinking that I'm stuck" Natsu widened his eyes at that moment. "It's almost as if I've been wanting to do something this whole time, but I never actually had the courage to do it... until now. So..." The blondie then raised her head while staring at the pinkette with a loving expression. "Natsu... I..."

But then suddenly, the pinkette exalted the blondie first by holding her face, approaching her... and kissing her deeply much to her complete surprise. Lucy tensed up in shock, and for a moment, she even tried to pull back. But in the end, she ended up getting totally into the moment while returning the kiss to Natsu.

A bit later, both pirates finally pulled back and stared at each other while blushing. "Is that what you were expecting?" Natsu asked as Lucy startled while blushing like crazy.

"A-ah? W-well... I..."

"It is, right? I really thought this whole time that what I felt was self-explanatory. But if you really want me to say it... I'll say as many times as you want"

Lucy widened her eyes in surprise as she then finally heard those exhilarating words she had been dying to hear that whole time.

"I love you, Lucy"

"Natsu..." And just like that, the blondie finally cried in joy as she once again kissed Natsu with all of her heart. " And I love you too, Natsu"

Following that, the beautiful blondie leaned on Natsu's chest as the pinkette embraced her dearly in a tight hug. They were both finally together for good. And it didn't matter what kind of trouble they were bound to face in the future, they would always make sure to remain together... for the rest of their lives.

<<10 years later>>

    Somewhere in a rustic house located at a peaceful shore in land, a cute and innocent 5-year old little girl was running along the beach while playing along with her dear father. This little girl had slightly long and disheveled pink hair, and her name was Nasha... Nasha Dragneel. And yes... Her dear father was none other than a 35-year old Natsu Dragneel.

    Turns out that the pinkette had actually abandoned his life as a dirty pirate for good after finding something which was even more important to him. Something so precious that he would die to protect at any cost: his dear family.

Both the daughter and her father were having fun while playing in the water and sand. But then suddenly, she and the father were both called out in order to have lunch by none other than her beautiful mother: a 34-year old blonde woman with chocolate brownish eyes: Lucy Heartfilia.

"Nasha! Natsu!" Lucy yelled happily. "Lunch is ready!"

"We'll be there in a sec!" Natsu replied in the same manner. Then, he turned to look at  his dear daughter and carried her over his shoulders dearly. "So... Are you hungry, Nasha? It would be bad to make your mother wait. You know how scary she can be when she's mad... hehehe..."

"Yeah! Let's go!" Nasha replied innocently.

And so, the father and the daughter gathered with the mother once more. And together, they all enjoyed a delicious meal while chatting and having fun with each other. It had truly been a very long way since the day the blondie and the pinkette first started their journey. But now, they were both more than sure that it was totally worth it. They would never change any of those beautiful years for anything.
