CHAPTER VI: The Last Oceanic Stretch

Natsu and Hades kept on talking for a while longer. But then, the ancient pirate began checking up a group of maps he had over his table. Natsu took advantage of this and swiftly removed the knife restraining him. After that, he slowly moved towards Hades with the knife in hand. But the ancient pirate was already aware of what he was planning.

"That dagger will serve you no better than the mutiny you devised" Hades stated.

Natsu startled in shock at this, but then he realized something very important. "The mutiny did serve me well" The pinkette said. "After all, I got an audience with you, didn't I?"

Now Hades was the one to startle in surprise. "Oh?" And so, the pinkette proceeded to reveal the ancient pirate his ace up his sleeve: the lie Lisanna told him about her being the long-lost descendant of Hades.

<<Meanwhile at the main deck>>

    The tables have turned completely for the poor crew aboard the ship. Lucy, Cana and the others were now totally restrained by the many masked officers. Lisanna too was keeping an eye in case anyone tried to escape somehow. In addition, she was also resting over a barrel right next to Lucy.

Then, the white-haired girl finally got curious about the blondie's connection to Natsu. "So... You are... What? Natsu's girlfriend?" Lisanna asked as Lucy instantly got all flustered.

"G-g-girlfriend?! Of course not!" Lucy replied while looking to one side.. "W-we... We are just friends. Nothing more"

"Mmmh...? Is that so?

"Y-yeah... But what about you? From what I've heard, you and Natsu know each other from before, don't you?"

"Well... We were both part of the Black Fairy's crew back when we were still kids"

Lucy faced downwards with a troubled look. "A-and... is that it?"

Lisanna then startled slightly and smirked. "Oh, don't worry. I'm not trying to take him away from you or anything like that. We may have been friends in the past, but that's about it"

The blondie blushed like crazy at that moment. "Th-that's not what I was talking about!" Following that, she faced downwards once more while trying to cool herself down. However, Lisanna then actually noticed just how crazily red the poor blondie was.

"You sure aren't good to hide your shame. Even a monkey would be able to tell you have feelings for Natsu... hehehe..." After that, the white-haired girl finally stood up and decided to head over to Hades's cabin. However, she still told one last thing to Lucy before leaving for good. "By the way, you should really hurry up and tell him what you feel. If not... somebody else might end up taking him for herself... hehe..."

Lucy widened her eyes in concern at that moment. Those words she had just heard from Lisanna... They were almost like a threat, or even a declaration of war against the flustered blondie. A continuous warning which kept on telling her that the white-haired first officer was also on the run to take Natsu for herself. And the blondie certainly didn't like that one bit.

<<Back with Natsu and Hades>>

    The conversation between the pinkette pirate and the captain of the Revenge had gone down a very unexpected road. Turns out Hades didn't like one bit what Natsu told him about Lisanna not actually being his descendant. He thought the pinkette was making it up, and even suspected Natsu to have been the one to corrupt her precious family.

    In addition, Lisanna had actually been listening to the most part of the conversion from outside of the cabin, until she finally decided to barge in and show herself. "What were you saying about me again?" Lisanna angrily asked with her arms crossed.
