I turned my head, shaking, towards the voice. I wasn't prepared enough, I should've braced myself once the hammer lifting started. Ultron was a lot scarier in person. The wires he built himself with were nearly falling apart, the metal screeching and clanking every step closer he took, which seemed to be in my general direction. The eyes of a lifeless robot, glowing.
"I'm sorry I was asleep. Or- I was a dream?" Ultron's head fell sideways and I began to feel sick, I thought about moving closer to the rest of the team but I thought Ultron would lunge at me if I moved a muscle.
I looked at my dad, he was tapping away at his device. "Reboot Legionnaire OS, we got a buggy suit."
"There was a terrible noise, I was tangled in.. in.. strings. I had to kill the other guy, he was a good guy." Ultron looked directly at me. I couldn't move.
"You killed someone?" Steve asked worryingly.
My dad gestured for me to come over and my legs came to life, I moved quickly over next to him. "Remember that thing I asked you to help me with yesterday? I suspect this might be-"
"I see a suit of armor around the world." Ultron said in my father's voice, Tony put his arm around me protectively.
"Yep." He whispered to me. I was shaking rapidly, I felt my hands heat up, I looked down, green was appearing, okay so the telekinesis could be used as energy balls too, good to know that's confirmed.
"Ultron!" Bruce confirmed, my dad tightened his grip around me, Ultron's glowing eyes seemed to follow me. This is so much scarier in real life.
"In the flesh, or no not yet. Not this- chrysalis, but I'm ready, I'm on a mission." Yeah a mission to destroy the entire planet, you homicidal robot. Apparently, according to Iron Ass, I had in someway helped. I searched through my new memories, yes, he did. He didn't specify what it was for, though.
"What mission?" Natasha stood up from where she was sitting and made her way behind me, my anxiety was slowly dropping away. Two people here already give a shit wether or not I got attacked by a robot.
Spoken toooo soon. The walls around us exploded and I instinctively ducked and put my arms over my neck. About two seconds of remembering where I was got me to stand up again. Uncle Rhodey was thrown threw a window by the legion's entry, I gasped as the glass shattered.
One of the legions came at me and before my dad could get in front of me and hurt himself, my hands glowed a much brighter green and I forced my hands out towards it. To my great relief, energy surged through me and knocked the hot backwards. I looked at my dad and he patted me on the back and I smiled at him while hyperventilating.
The concrete below me was humming below my feet as I dodged a wave of fire, geokinesis includes rocks you smart ass. Well at least I remember that now rather than later. I forced my hands upward with a tug, two blocks of the floor below me came up with it, the force between the two pieces and concrete and me was almost like circling energy. Or a string that connected me to them.
I brought them up higher and then smashed the middle of a legion together. I brought back the two blocks and then spun around to smash another bot into a wall. It didn't feel like I was using the blocks as weapons, it felt like I was sort of... dancing with them? I'm Mother Nature motherfucker.
I look over to see my dad tackling one of the legions, with a fucking fork. "I might as well bury you now! I'm already an orphan! Why are you attacking it with a-" I was picked up by my left leg and thrown fairly hard into a framed painting. The glass shattered behind me and I fell face first into the ground.
