Chapter 2 - The unexpected guest

When Ash and I were heading to Vermilion City, I started to feel a little drowsy so I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep. As I was falling asleep, Sylveon curled up into a ball in my arms and fell asleep with me.

~Time skip to arrival to Vermilion City~

When I was still asleep I felt a tap on my shoulder, as I started to wake up I saw Ash sitting by me with a smile planted on his face, "Morning Y/n, you better wake up because we just arrived!" Ash exclaimed to me, "Really! Ok then let's get our stuff out of the car and head to the building!" I exclaimed back to Ash.

I got out of the car and headed to the back of it and grabbed all my stuff that I brought. When I was bringing my stuff up to the building, Ash walked up to this Yamper on the staircase, "Awwww, now aren't you a cutie, now come here and let me pet ya!" Ash said to the Yamper, but right when he picked it up, it electrocuted him, 'Jeez, Ash is so stupid' I thought to myself as I walked past Ash looking half dead laying on the staircase.

When Ash and I came to the door, Ash and I heard footsteps behind us. When I looked back to see who was there, there was a girl who looked the same age as Ash and I, she had Byzantium purple hair, and was wearing what looked like a school uniform.

Once she had made it up to the door, she noticed Ash and I, "Uhm, excuse me but why are you here?" the girl asked, "Oh sorry, my name is Y/n and this is Ash, we're here because Professor Oak brought Ash and I here since one of his proteges opened up this new research lab and invited us to come to it!" I responded back to the girl, "Oh, you mean my Dad, yeah he said that visitors would be coming so I'm not surprised, and my name is Chloe and It's nice to meet you Y/n." Chloe said to me, I was pretty surprised that her Dad was the professor of this research lab, "Wait, your Dad is the owner of this place!?" Ash butted in. I looked at Ash with a disappointed look, "Sorry about him, he loves to butt into conversations". Instead of a it's fine from Chloe, she giggled instead.

~Time skip to going to Professor Oak and Professor Cerise talking about the appearance of Lugia~

WAIT!! A LUGIA!!! I was so surprised that a legendary Pokemon would be appearing on our first day in Vermilion City! I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't even hear what Ash said, "Y/n are you even listening to me!" Ash yelled at me, "Sorry Ash, what were you saying?" I asked Ash, "Would you like to help me check out Lugia!" I was shocked but not surprised that Ash would ask me something that silly, "Sure!" "Great! Professor, me and Y/n will check it!" Once Ash exclaimed to Professor Oak, he grabbed my hand and ran toward the door with glee.

While Ash and I were running to different places, Ash looked back behind him and said, "Great, we're the first one's to look for Lugia Y/n!" When Ash exclaimed that, his Pikachu was screaming at him to look in front of him, but being Ash, right at the last second he ran into the Snorlax that was blocking the road, "Ash you are so dumb sometimes you know" I told Ash with disappointment on my face.
