Chapter 5 - W-what is this feeling

Goh's Pov

Ash, Y/n, and I just got a request from Professor Cerise to be his research fellows! We were all so excited to where Ash was jumping up and down with his arms high in the air, Y/n had a cute little smile with her eyes closed. 'Wait, did I just call Y/n cute!?!' I thought to myself as I had a slight hint of pink brushed against my cheeks, 'W-what is this feeling, my face feels hot, my heart is beating like crazy, and it felt like my heart was going to explode' I thought to myself again still looking at Y/n which now her eyes fluttered open and revealed those beautiful (e/c) orbs, then !BOOM! my face was covered with pink all over my cheeks, 'Damit, she's so pretty and cute but I only met her today' I thought to myself for the last time before I heard a beautiful voice call my name, "Goh are you okay, your face looks very red, are you sick?" I heard that beautiful voice from none other than Y/n.

She began to get close to me and then put her hand on my forehead to see how hot my body felt. I felt my stomach begin to hurt but then again I think there are butterflies in my stomach, "U-um n-no I'm perfectly fine, hehe" I responded back while stuttering some of the words that escaped my mouth. She removed her hand from my forehead and put both of her arms behind her and gave me a gentle smile of relief, "Good! I thought you were sick because of how hot your body felt" she said back to me with that small smile still plastered on her beautiful face.

'Please, touch me again, your skin, it's, soft, I want to feel, your soft skin, on my skin, once more, I want you to touch me again' I thought to myself once again. I tried to shake off this amazing feeling that entered my body, but I didn't want it to leave me.

"Y'all should be getting ready to go to bed since tomorrow will be a big day for you all." I heard Professor Cerise say, I turned my head to the Professor when he said that. Ash, Y/n, and I all agreed and started to follow the Professor since we didn't know where our rooms or room would be. While we were following Professor Cerise, my eyes looked over to the left where Y/n was walking, she was in the middle of Ash and I. I saw Ash looking at her which made me a little jealous, but I shook that aside from me and looked back at Y/n. Her (h/c) (h/l) hair was flowing behind her with grace and delight which made my heart itche.

I was about to say something to Y/n but I didn't have the time to say what I wanted to say because we all arrived in our room which had a bunk bed, a long desk table with two chairs, a medium sized bookshelf, and even a refrigerator?! That's strange for a refrigerator to be in a bedroom, but nevermind that. My thoughts were cleared from me once I heard Ash say something, "Wow! It's amazing! I never thought a guest room would be this nice in a lab!" Ash exclaimed with joy and had stars in his eyes, "It is pretty nice, never thought we would have a fridge in our room though" Y/n said while looking around the room with pleasing eyes, "But what are we going to do since there are only two beds?" Y/n continued in that tiny pause she did while she was looking around.

"Yeah you're right Y/n. Maybe you have to share a bed with one of us" Ash said, agreeing with Y/n. But when I heard her say 'share a bed' my heart began to flutter and my cheeks were getting warm again, 'I hope I can share a bed with Y/n, I wonder what she's like?' I wondered to myself once again.

"Hey! I know, you can share a bed with me!" I heard Ash squeal in joy. I looked over to him and noticed that he had a wide closed eye smile looking down at Y/n. I felt my heart sink down to the ground and my face changed to a jealous look.

"Ash, you sleep like a baby, you love to toss and turn so I would rather sleep with someone who doesn't which Goh might so I'll sleep with him instead" I heard Y/n say, and when I heard my name in her sentence told to Ash, my heart fluttered, 'W-WAIT, AM I GOING TO HAVE TO SHARE A BED WITH Y/N!!??' I exclaimed in my head with pure excitement and nervousness. "W-wait, you wanna share a bed together?" I quietly asked Y/n looking over to her with a red face, "Well yeah, only if it's okay with you!" "Uhm, s-sure, I don't mind" I responded back to her turning my head away from Y/n so she didn't notice the visible blush on my face, 'HOLY CRAP! I'M ACTUALLY SHARING A BED WITH A GIRL!' I thought to myself again in pure excitement.

"We should probably get ready to go to sleep since we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow!" Ash exclaimed walking over towards the bed and starting to climb up the ladder to the top bunk, "HEY I WANT THE TOP BUNK!!" I yelled rushing over to Ash and started to pull him down from the ladder and forcing my way up to the top, "DON'T YOU THINK IT'S A BETTER IDEA FOR ME TO SLEEP ON THE TOP BUNK SINCE YOU HAVE TO SLEEP WITH Y/N!!!!!" Ash once again exclaimed in my ear while we were fighting for the bed, "Yeah, Ash has a good point, I think we should be on the bottom bunk Goh" Y/n butted in agreeing with Ash. I mean he has a good point but I would LOVE to sleep on the top, "Fiiiinee" I groaned, "YESSS!" Ash yelled again in my ear like a child, "SHUT UP ASH! YOU'RE GOING TO BUST MY EAR DRUMS YELLING LIKE A CHILD!!!" I yelled back to Ash also like an angry child, "Could y'all just be quiet and get down Goh, you're the one also yelling like a child too so you don't need to speak.." Y/n said a little bit loud so both Ash and I could hear what she said.

She also looked a little bit irritated, maybe because of Ash and I. I jumped down from the ladder connecting the two beds from falling down, and started to walk towards my bags which were in the corner of the book shelf and grabbed my PJ's to change into since it was getting pretty late. Ash did the same but he had all of his stuff in his backpack?! This man is something different-

~Time skip to laying in bed~

Still Goh's POV

I was laying in bed still wide awake because I couldn't get Y/n off of my mind. She's not in the bed right now because she decided to go on a little walk with her Sylveon just to get some air and calm herself down before getting ready for bed. I tried my best trying to fall asleep but I just couldn't, Y/n was still stuck in my head.

While I was trying my best to fall asleep I heard the door creek open and some of the hallway light entering the bedroom. I went to look to see who it was, but right when I turned my head to see who it was, I none other than Y/n, her Sylveon by her side walking very elegantly looking quite tired, Y/n also looked a little bit drowsy and could probably just fall asleep on the floor if she could but she didn't. She slipped off her shoes, picked up her Sylveon which I guess she likes to sleep with, and then headed towards our bed, our, bed...

She climbed in the bed and covered herself with the covers, she held Sylveon close to her probably to feel safe. Our backs were touching and our legs were really close to touching each other, I wanted to turn around and just cuddle her in my arms but that would be a little weird since we just met each other and don't know much about each other too.

While I was trying to fall asleep, I felt some movement in the bed. I thought it would be Sylveon at first but it couldn't since she is in Y/n's arms. But once the movement stopped I felt something close on my back. I turned my head over my shoulder to see what it was, and to my surprise Y/n was turned over, Sylveon out of her grasp, hands gently placed on my back, and her forehead wrested on my back gently.

'W-WHAT DO I DO!?!?! SHOULD I JUST LET HER BE THERE OR DO SOMETHING ELSE?!?! AAAAAAAHHHH DAMIT SHE'S TOO HARD TO RESIST!!!' I screamed in my head while having an extremely hot face. I decided to turn around and try my best not to wake her, I moved my hands from my side to her waist. I kept her close to me to make sure nothing happens to her.
