The shining light of Cyber City's equivalent to the sun shone through the window of the yellow room. This would indicate that it was around ten AM, based on the location of the window in correlation to the sun. The light shone right on the businessman's face, making him instinctively pull the blankets over his entire body as he rolled onto his side, facing away from the window.
... this lasted about a minute, before he leaped out of bed.
" It's [[10:00 AM]] ! OH MY [[our precious lord and savior]] ! I'M GOING TO BE LATE FOR MY [[9 to 5]] IF I— " Spamton cut himself off, remembering the events of yesterday. He didn't have work this week because none of the rookies wanted him to be their mentor.
But ... that one girl did take his flyer !
Peach — she wasn't a rookie but she still took it, seeming to have been thoughtful about it. Spamton didn't know why she took it, but it had to be a sign that she was interested in him, right ? And Lien's words, too !! He figured that he should take this week to prepare to socialize with her, for real this time !
.......

Cyber City Convention Center : 10 AM.
Peach examined all the newcomers in her designated teaching space, as well as the space itself. Addisons weren't exactly meant to be teachers with classrooms, so the convention center didn't set itself up properly as if it were that. Instead, it just had plastic tables and folding chairs as the desks. Not only that, but the rooms were a bit bigger than what was necessary.
Based on what she observed over the four years she'd been a full time addison advertiser, these classes have progressively gotten smaller and smaller. She was pretty sure that they could all save money by just holding these things at their own shops. More darkners were diverging from their naturally born roles in the world. Not that this was a huge problem, but if there came a point where they didn't have people to advertise things that they were passionate about, it might become one in the future.
Her class this year consisted of about thirteen addisons. Two girls, and eleven boys. She was unamused, as year after year less girls showed up and the boys who showed up never paid attention. It made her "Addisons Preparation and Guidance" bar chart start to drop each year, as less people who studied under her became successful Addisons than, say, those who studied under Adam or Lien. However she wasn't the worst - she had seen the charts for the others, and T.E.'s chart was .... Well, let's just say it's been flatlined for years.
" Alright, everyone, today you all are learning about how to sell. "
" Duhhh, " Adele, the cerulean blue addison from yesterday interrupted, " how about you tell us what we don't already know ? "
Peach tried her best not to scowl, giving the grin of a gladhander as she continued.
" You all have to know the product you're selling. And I mean KNOW the product. " she scanned the room again, pointing her finger to a red addison wearing a beanie, " you. What product do you plan to sell, assuming you pass this week-long training ? "
" uh, uh, uh... " The red Addison stumbled on his words - like a cat got his tongue.
" He's going into the gaming field, " a green addison answered, " specifically, he wants to become a streamer with sponsors, advertising the sponsorships. "
