Chapter 16

Gemini's POV
~at the airport~
we all got out the car after Billie's body guards got out their van first. camera flashes and yells started going on.

every time me and Billie went into public it wouldn't be like this and i hadn't experienced the paps and fans being like this because i usually go out alone, without Billie. Billie saw my face of worry and pulled me into her.

"it's ok, you want my sunglasses they'll help" i nodded my head and she took them off, handing them to me. i put them on and put my head down.

i walked in the airport and the camera flashes died down but not fully. we got checked in and all that and went to our gate. we sat down with all our carryons since we checked our bags in and chilled.

i grabbed my wallet and put my carryon on the seat i was sitting at and got up. Billie looked up from her phone and asked, "where you going" "to get something to drink you wanna come and do you guys want anything"

Billie, Claudia and Finneas got up and everyone else shook their head, saying no. the four of us started walking to one of the stores and started getting snacks.

i got a water, lemonade and Sour Patch Watermelons. before i could even get my wallet out my pocket the guys handed me my receipt. i looked to the side of me knowing Billie was right there.

"you suck" i mumbled so only she can hear and she laughed. we all got our stuff and walked back to our gate. i opened my water and drank a gulp of it being thirsty.

i put my other stuff in my back pack and went on my phone. 10 minutes later we heard our gate get called so i checked my watch and it read, 1:34 am. we all got up and got our stuff.

we hand the lady our tickets and walked down the passenger boarding bridge. we found our seat and put our carryons away. me and Billie sat down and put our seatbelts on waiting for take off.

they called on the intercom that we were about to take off and Billie saw my face flush with worry. "it's ok it'll be quick" she then grabbed my hand and i squeezed it tight feeling the plane start to move.

"hey if you squeeze your eyes shut we'll be in the air in no time and it helps bring your anxiety down" i nodded and did what she said. five minutes later she tapped my hand.

i opened my eyes and she was pointing out the window with a smile on her face. i looked out and just like she said we were in the air. i grabbed my phone and got my AirPods out giving one to Billie.

i went on to Netflix and played the show we had started watching which was Colin in Black and White. i leaned my head on Billie's shoulder and she held the phone.

after about five minutes i get my eyes start to droop and heard Billie whisper to me, "go to sleep mama we'll be there soon"

i took the AirPod out my ear and put it back in the case and gave it to Billie, knowing she would most likely fall asleep after me. i let my eyes close and drifted off into sleep.  

~9 hours later~

me and Billie woke up from the lights turning on and the pilot on the intercom telling us to prepare for landing.

we stretched in our seats and rubbed the sleep out our eyes. "you got enough energy for your show later" i joked. "shut up dork" Billie said but nodded knowing i was joking.

the plane landed and we got our carryons down and start to walk down the passenger border bridge. as soon as we got out the gate i saw paps and fans waiting for Billie.
