(Y/n)'s POV
Tear fell out of the corners of my eyes while I and Magna-senpai stood behind a pillar that is hiding us from Asta and Mr. Owen. Asta said, he will visit Mr. Owen after I offered Asta to check his arms with Mr. Owen who is our trusted healer in Clover Kingdom.
Magna-senpai suddenly held my left hand preventing it from shaking because of how much terrible news we just heard.
My eyes can't stop themselves from tearing up every time, I remembered how Asta happy he is being a Magic Knight even though he doesn't have magic. Such sudden incident took away his own happiness if we—Magna-senpai and I are feeling this. I didn't want to imagine how Asta is feeling.
After Mr. Owen said his last statements, Magna-senpai pulled me to the door as we left the tower with such frail hearts.

Those tears that I released aren't for my pity for Asta, it's the thought that Asta will have to pretend that every thing is okay.
I maybe be assuming it, but Asta and I are likely similar in most ways, we both hid our feelings in order for the others to not worry, we both had ambition, we were too devoted as a Magic Knight to prove that we can, and we will.
