Hearing Emily screaming, I immediately budge inside the room.
"EMILY!" I called out, seeing her on the floor.
I picked her up, her body in my arms. Her skin was pale snow and felt coldness on my skin.
"SIX! SEVEN! GUYS! CALL THE AMBULANCE RIGHT NOW!" I yelled.
I took Emily out of the room and then Six came upstairs, seeing Emily in my arms.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I heard her screaming then saw her on the ground. I assume she fainted, but her blood is cold and her skin is pale. She must be sick." I said.
Six didn't say anything else then went outside. I followed, quickly taking her to the car. Juan called the ambulance, but for some reason didn't pick up, Two and Seven were in the car, and Six sitting in the car beside Seven. I sat down, having Emily sitting on my lap, laying her head on my shoulder. I covered her with my jacket, holding her hand.
"Let's go." Six said seriously.
Juan nodded then drove to the hospital. I looked at Emily, seeing her look sicker and whiter. I hope she's okay. If not, I blame it on Diana...if she's even real.
Later...
I sat down on the chair, waiting patiently for the doctor to let us know if my cousin was okay or not. While waiting, Six sat beside me.
"Hey, don't overthink about it. I'm sure Emily's okay." she said gently, putting her hand on my shoulder.
I turned my head, giving a weak smile. I put my hand on hers, lightly kissing it.
"Thanks Six. I'm just afraid she won't be." I said, sighing.
"Don't be. If she's not, I'm sure she'll recover."
I nodded then locked my fingers with hers. She smiled passionately, giving me a happy vibe right now.
"Mono," hearing the doctor speak.
I immeditaly turned. My friends looked at him to hear what he says.
"Emily is going to be fine. She's just feeling ill and soon will be recover." he said.
I nodded then we visited her in the room. Emily was peacefully resting, breathing slowly. I sat on the chair beside the bed, holding her cold hand.
"Emily," I whispered.
My friends were quiet, looking around the room. We waited for a few minutes until Emily woke up.
"Mono?" she spoke weakly.
"Oh my god, you're okay." I said in relief with a smile.
She smiled back then coughed.
"What happened?" Emily asked.
"I heard you screaming from your room, so I went to check up on you, but you fainted." I replied.
"Fainted? No! Diana! She took me away from you!"
"What do you mean?"
"She said she needed me, but I didn't need her! Mono, you have to leave tonight! Diana won't let you go! She wants to kill you and your friends!"
My friends and I exchange looks at each other. I sighed then stared at Emily.
"I know I said Diana isn't real, but I'll protect you and everyone else." I said.
Emilt didn't speak another word. The doctor came, telling us Emily will be staying at the hospital for three days. We understood then left the room.
Time pass, and we gather our stuff and rented an apartment near the hospital. Seven, Juan, and Two rented a room together while me and Six shared one together. I sat down on the bed, looking out the window. I sighed, hoping Emily would be okay.
"What's on your mind, Mono?"
I turned my head, seeing Six sitting beside me.
"Nothing. I just..worry too much." I said nervously.
"It's okay. You can tell me."
There was silence for a moment then I face towards her, holding her small hands.
"I'm worried Emily won't be cured in the future. I'm afraid her imagination is becoming too much for me and I'm so scared what's gonna happen to us." I said, looking down.
Six lifted my head with a smile then spoke to me.
"Mono, don't think like that. The future hasn't arrived yet. Just wait and I'm sure everything will be fine." she said calmly, kissing my lips light as a feather.
I blushed then gave a smile.
"Thank you." I said.
"Of course! I'm here whenever you need me."
12:06 AM
"Wake Up."
I opened my eyes slowly, looking around in the dark room. I sat up, seeing the moon shine on the floor through the window. While looking, my eyes turned to see something that my heart skipped a beat. A woman with long, tangley black hair stood in a corner. I couldn't move. I felt paralyzed.
"H-Hello?" I stuttered.
She didn't say anything. Only her silence responded. I kept looking at the creature, having a feeling if I look away, she'll come closer.
Time has passed. I don't know how long I've been having a staring contest with this thing. Even though I can barely see to look at her, I know she's looking right back at me.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Emily." she spoked in a old voice.
"Why? What do you want from her?"
"Her soul."
I panicked. This ugly thing is not having my little cousin. I slowly grabbed my phone then turned on the flashlight, shining on the monster, but she wasn't there. If she's not in front of me...she's behind me. I quickly turned, having my body to freeze when she turned her head around to look at me again.
"W-Who are you?" I asked.
She didn't say anything until my eyes blinked, seeing her closer to my face. The light appeared on her from the moon, seeing she has no eyes at all. Just pitch black with blood streaming down with a creepy grin on her face.
"Diana." she whispered then screamed into my eardrums, having me to pass out from a heart attack.
