as expected jack caved and couldn't help but to check to see if he was still blocked, and he was relieved to find out he wasn't. the hold nomi had on him was crazy but it was what it was.

he probably rewatched her story over 10 times in the last five minutes. why the fuck was she so fine? it made no sense to him and it honestly made him angry sometimes.

god, he was whipped.

he debated on whether or not he should swipe up before ultimately deciding not to. he pocketed his phone in the pockets of his sweats and looked out the airplane window.

he was flying in a little bit earlier to make things right with her and he just hoped she would give him the time of day. "bro? would you stop bouncin' your goddamn leg like that. makin' me anxious and shit."

jack turns his head to urban and rubs his semi sweaty palms on his thighs, "my fault."

"just chill out. she's gonna be happy to see you." he reassures and jack nods his head, taking a deep breath to help relax himself.

"if she don't take me back i don't know what the hell ima do bro." he mutters leaning back in his seat and running a hand down his face.

urban could understand where jack was coming from. if meli was mad at him for more than an hour he wouldnt know what to do with himself.

the two best friends had them both on lock.

..

nomi watched as meli flipped a pancake, she allowed it to cook for a few more minutes before turning around and sliding it on nomi's plate. "thank you bae."

"no problem. you feeling a little better?" she asks knowing her best friend has been feeling down since her breakup.

it was painful to watch.

nomi sighed and shook her head, "i should just stop being so stubborn and call him, right?"

"do you honestly want my advice?"

nomi pondered for a moment before slowly nodding her head. "i think you should talk to him. no yelling. just a real mature and calm conversation about how you both feel."

"i don't yell all the time."

meli turned the stove off and took a seat at the table, "mhm yes you do. you get very defensive."
