Chapter 7: That's A Beautiful Name

Your P.O.V

"Beware, danger lurks by."

I widened my eyes, and immediately grabbed Andy's arm.

I dragged him outside, hissing to him, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, there is someone out there to get you." Andy pushed me off, but couldn't push away my glare.

"How do you know?" I snapped. "You know nothing, pesky human."

"Oh, call me a human all you want." Andy chuckled. "You can also call the sky red, but that doesn't make it true." 

I growled. "Why, if Kaname could-"

"Kaname? You mean the stupid Pureblood Prince Kuran?" Andy spat out Kaname's name like it was ash in his mouth.

"Yes. And he is not stupid, he is my brother and husband." I flipped my (H/C) hair at Andy, defending my beloved.

Andy's P.O.V (me: O.O)

So, that stupid prince is taking my beloved? I feel like killing him.

(Y/N) was my sister first. no one, not even that Pureblood remembers that (Y/N) is not a Kuran?

She is from the mighty Demonte family, a rare group of Purebloods who were attacked 18 years ago. The regular Pureblood vampires tried capturing us, to use our power against others.

The Kurans helped us defend my little sister, and myself. (Y/N) Demonte is her real name, and she is mine. My sister, my fiancee, mine.

And that Pureblood won't be getting in my way.

Kaname's P.O.V

(Y/N) had been gone for almost 10 minutes, and Andy completely disappeared. I looked outside, seeing (Y/N) arguing with Andy. I rushed out of my seat, appearing behind (Y/N) in less than 2 seconds.

"What are you doing with my wife?!" I demanded, wrapping my arms around her.

"Your wife?" Andy smirked. "She's supposed to be my wife!"

I gave him a deep growl. "Likely story."

Andy chuckled. "Oh, almighty Pureblood. Have you forgotten that night oh so many years ago?"

I froze.

I haden't forgotten, I chose not to remember.

~Flashback!~

The wind was swirling around, causing the snow to become tiny painful pellets to my face. But I kept watching.

My family was helping protect the Demonte's, while they had a newborn daughter and a two year old sun. The children were clutching desperately to their mother, while my family fought for them. A pack of Pureblood's wanted their power, because they were jealous.

After the last one had been defeated, I eyed my mother. She had her hands tainted with blood, and my father was now scarred on his chest after a Pureblood had scratched him.

I looked over at the other children. I was only 2, so Yuuki was a newborn baby. She was inside the Demonte's house, in a safe room. The mothers children were outside because they had been kidnapped. The mother had been too terrified to move, but she was able to calm her children down enough to not burst out crying.

I ran over to the mother when I saw my parents making their own moves towards them.

"Oh, thank you. Thank you so much!!" The mother started crying into her daughter's blanket. My own mother gave her a smile, before putting a hand on her shoulder.

"It was no trouble, we would do anything for you Demonte's." My mother said. The Demonte's and Kurans were friends back then. 

"Then please, do me one last favor before I pass on." The mother asked. Indeed, she was crippled and weak. She had a disease, making her die at the age 32.

"Yes? What is it?" My father came over, taking my mother in his hands.

"Take my daughter, will ya? I fear I won't be able to give her a childhood like you can." The woman begged.

"Please, mommy. I want a sister." I begged. "Besides Yuuki."

"Oh, Kaname." My mother looked at the woman. "Fine. We will take (Y/N)."

My last thoughts had been, (Y/N). Thats a beautiful name.

Ooh~ Cliffhanger! Kinda. Not really. I don't even know anymore.
