Chapter 11: Happy Family (Finale)

Your P.O.V

"Well, how else shall we celebrate the Demonte's?"

Right after I said that, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" I piped up. I jumped off of the couch, and ran to the door like a child.

Opening it up, I saw Ruka smiling at me.

And holding Akane, Aito, and Butsu.

I gasped, before snuggling the dear family members into my arms. 

"Oh, children! I missed you so much!" I buried my head into Akane's little neck, causing her to giggle. Aito cried out for attention, earning a delighted chuckle from the Kaname-now-standing-next-to-me.

Kaname took Aito for me, leaving me with Akane. 

I heard a faint meow, before feeling soft fur rub against my legs.

"Butsu! I didn't forget about you, kitty." I bent down carefully, scooping him up in my left arm, for my right arm was filled with the bundle named Akane.

Akane started giggling, clapping her hands as she looked at Butsu. I gently sat down, as Kaname invited Ruka in. I set the baby on my lap, and Butsu on the couch next to me.

Butsu immediately went to explore Akane, sniffing her here and there. Akane giggled at him, and was quickly best friends with Butsu.

"Kaname!" I called. He rushed out of the kitchen, Ruka following behind.

"Yes, love?" Kaname kept a calm composure, and I gestured to the two besties in my lap.

Kaname smiled, sitting down next to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

Andy walked over to me, and smiled at Akane and Aito, who was still in Kaname's arms.

"So, are these your children?" Andy asked. I nodded enthusiastically.

"They are, and I wouldn't trade them for the world." I kissed Akane's little head, and squished my lips on Aito's soft cheek. Aito seemed to almost smirk, just like his father.

I chuckled at this, sending Kaname a smile. "He's going to be like you. Professional, successful, and definitely handsome." I sent Kaname a teasing tone.

Kaname gave his own chuckle at my words. "And that little baby girl shall be like her mother. Beautiful, kind, and full of smiles." He kissed my forehead.

I heard Andy and Ruka shuffle into the kitchen, so we could continue our moment.

"Oh, and don't forget hyper!" I added, laughing joyfully. The children seemed to understand my mood, for Akane gave her own cheerful laugh, and Aito gave a small smile.

Kaname chuckled once more, before he set Aito next to Akane. The two children were on the couch, close to me in case they were about to fall. 

I care.

Kaname quickly claimed my lips, making it quick but passionate.

"While they are still young." Kaname teased. I blushed, before turning my gaze to the children.

"Ah, I hope I'm an OK mom." I sighed.

"Of course you will be." Kaname hugged me from behind (admit it girls, you love that too 0.0) before continuing. "You were an excellent girlfriend, and you are an amazing wife." Kaname buried his head into the crevice of my neck, kissing it gently.

I blushed, before answering, "Well, now I'm a mother. Let's see how I do."
