Chapter 9: Which Way?

Your P.O.V

"A very powerful family. The Demonte's."

I widened my eyes. Kaname had mentioned them once, with brief information.

The Demonte's are much too powerful, even for my family. Everyone worships them, whether you like it or not. Even Rido. That's why he wants (Y/N) so much.

At the time, I hadn't understood why Rido would want me, but i understood now.

He wanted my power.

"I-I'm a.... Demonte? But how is that possible?" I looked around.

"Um, a Demonte gave birth to you?" Andy suggested with sarcasm. I glared at him.

"Does that mean you are a powerful Pureblood too, Andy?" I asked him.

Andy nodded his head, grinning proudly.

"And I can easily beat you in a fight." 

"Is that a challenge?" I raised my (H/C) eyebrows, giving him a smirk.

Before he could reply, I used my vampire speed to get behind him. I gripped his arm, but as I was about to flip him, he spun around and flipped me instead.

Landing with a thud! I stared up at him.

"Good job, bro." I gladly accepted his arm for help up, wrapping my fingers around his bare skin and bouncing up.

"Thanks." Andy flashed a flirty smile, causing me to blush a little bit. I looked down at the hand that used his arm to jump up, seeing my wedding ring crooked. I quickly slid it back into place, and strode my way back over to Kaname.

Kaname gladly accepted me into his arms, wrapping them around me protectively.

I smiled at Andy, and got an idea.

"Hey, Andy? Wanna come to our place? You can explain the Demonte's fully there." I looked at Kaname for permission, who seemed pissed. Kaname looked down at me, his gaze softening at my eyes.

"Sound good. How 'bout it, Pureblood?" Andy dared.

Kaname smirked. "If my wife wants you there, I can't argue."

Andy seemed to despise the word "wife", but his glare was gone the second it was there.

"Wonderful! I can come after my shift is over. About 3 more hours." Andy smiled cheerfully at me. I clapped my hands together.

"Perfect! We will come pick you up in about 3 hours, then!" I spun around after giving him a grin, and tugged on Kaname's sleeve. "Let's go, Kaname."

I saw Kaname glare at Andy, before intertwining his fingers with mine and leading me away. 

We spent the rest of the time doing random things that I can't remember.

I walked in front of the cafe Andy worked at, waiting by the wall next to the door. Kaname suddenly appeared, wrapping his arms around my waist. I gave him a playful smirk, snuggling my head into the crevice of his neck and snaking my arms around his neck. We stayed like that for a while, before Kaname mumbled something.

"I love you, (Y/N)." Kaname said gently.

"I love you too, Kaname." I smiled, giving his neck a gentle kiss. I heard Kaname chuckle, causing me to raise my head.

"What is it?" I tilted my head sideways in confusion.

Suddenly, Kaname's warm lips were placed on mine, making my (E/C) eyes to widen in surprise. But i quickly adjusted, letting my (L/C) lips kiss back.

A few minutes later, I heard a "Ugh, get a room."

I pulled away, seeing Andy standing there in regular clothes. He wore a red, plaid shirt with a white undershirt.  He wore light blue jeans, and brown tennis shoes.

"Hey, Andy." I said, a hint of disappointment in my voice because I was actually having fun.

*Cough cough*

"Let's go." Kaname ordered.

"Yeah." Andy agreed, already walking in front of us. "Which way?"

Sorry!!! I told you you would learn about the Demonte's this chapter, but I kinda really wanted to put a KanamexReader moment so it still qualifies, so I had to give you guys a moment But I promise, next chapter you will learn about the Demonte's!!!
