-Ella's Pov-

The sweet smell of London air filled my nose, the tall skyscrapers and cars invading my line of sight. I felt small compared to the huge city- I was just one girl, on her own, heading off to a dance academy in which I've never even seen aside from the flimsy brochures they send out to people they're interested in.

I must have looked like a tourist becuause, guessing by the looks on the peoples' faces as they walked by me, I shouldn't be standing on the sidewalk with suitcases crammed around me.

I raised my hand in the air to call over a cab, which worked seeing as a yellow cab pulled up in front of me. The man stepped out of the cab, and walked over to me. He took my bags and set them in the trunk of the cab before opening the back seat door for me. "Thank you" I smiled at him. He nodded, returning the smile, and shut the door.

We drove off to the dance school, my nerves kicking in. My stomach was in knots, and the airplane peanuts I had eaten previously were beginning to come back up. But, I couldn't really tell if that was from the nerves, or that they just tasted that bad my stomach couldn't stand having them in my body for any longer.

I stared out the window on the drive there, admiring all of the people, and buildings, and small little bistros that we didn't have back in Indiana. My eyes drifted towards the sky, which was fairly clear and sunny. I always heard from people the England was a really rainy country in the summer, but it's not raining right now.

"Miss, we've reached the Royal Academy of Dance." The driver announced, snapping me out of my daze. I blinked a few times, and nodded, grabbing my small bag from my side.

The door opened, revealing the warm, sunny air. I smiled up at the sky quickly, before heading over to the trunk to get my bags.

After paying the cab driver, I started walking towards the entrance of the school. The architecture was beautiful on the outside, it'll probably be like a castle on the inside. I stepped through the doors for the very first time, and all I could see was a few girls sitting in the lounge doing absolutely nothing but they were in their tights and leotards.

Checking in to the school was easy, until it reached rooming situation.

"What do you mean, my roommates "withdrew" from the school?" I asked the woman at the front desk skeptically.

"Well, they got a better offer, so they're not going to be attending the dance academy." She explained casually.

"So where am I supposed to stay!?" I shrieked, my anxiety getting the best of me. I haven't had an anxiety attack in years, I'm not about to have one now.

"I'm afraid you'll have to find somewhere off campus to stay."

Off.

Off campus.

"Did you just say 'off campus'?" I questioned her softly, leaning closer over the front desk.

"I'm afraid so, sorry love. Just try and find a place to stay by Wednesday." She concluded, walking away.

Great, I have 3 days to find a place to live, in a huge city, where I know absolutely no one in England, let alone London.

I sighed, and headed back out the doors. I looked around at the street across from the school, in hopes of seeing anything that could help me out. I spotted a hotel sign, and a breath of relief escaped my lips, my heart rate decreasing from it's previous racing state.

I journeyed over to the hotel across the street, with all of my suitcases, and walked through the door. There were a few older couples sitting near the fire with their tea, and a book, but that's really about it. I headed to the front desk, and set my bags next to me.

"Hello, welcome to the Rafayel, how may we asist you?" The man asked, his London accent showing.

"Hi, um, I need to stay here until Wednesday." I replied, biting my lip.

His eyes widened, but went back to normal- probably at the sound of my American "accent".

"Coming from America, are you?" He questioned with a smile, holding out his hand to take my debit card.

I nodded shyly. "Yeah, I came to the dance school across the street, but my roommates withdrew from the school so now I have three days to find a place to stay." I explained, watching him swipe my card on the register.

"Well, I hope you find a place soon!" He smiled, handing me back my card. I slipped it back into my wallet, and laughed.

"Me too." I replied around a laugh.

I made my way to the elevator, and pressed the up button to level 4; where my room was. I don't know how I'm going to find a place to stay, but it better be easy because I am not flying back to Indiana for nothing.
