Chapter six

When I got into the kitchen Tanner was making sandwiches.
"I'll do the peanut butter and you can do the jelly. K?"
"Yeah that's fine I guess" I said awkwardly.
"So Ava I've been thinking..." He said.
"Yesss?"
"Would you like to go out to dinner with me on Saturday night?" he said as he paused putting on the peanut butter.
"Of course." I said smiling.
"Okay."
It took a couple seconds of staring at each other for us to finish up the sandwiches. Then we went back into the living room.
"So what were you two love bugs talking about in there?" Mj said.
"Nothing much." Tanner said smirking since she called us love bugs.
"Wanna watch another movie?" I suggested.
"Will you not stare at me through the whole movie this time?" Tanner said laughing.
"I DID NOT STARE, your probably a crack head for all I know."
"Yessss you did too stare!" He said.
"You had something on the side of your face. That's all."
"Mhm....sure." He said smirking again.
"Wanna watch a romanic love story so Ava can imagine its you and her?" Mj said, knowing that would bother me.
"You know what never mind I'll just go home." I said getting up and walking towards the door.
"And how will you get home?" Tanner asked.
"Shit, um well.....never mind."
"Movie it is then, let's watch the note book" mj said.
Then as we both sat down, the movie started and he grabbed my hand.
