What the Bible teachers: There are more than one gift, different services and different works but there's only one Lord. One Lord who distributes gifts and work in us. God has given each person a different gift. The Bible refers to God's people like a body. It points out that just as how the different parts on the body need the other parts, this is how each person in the family of Christ need each other. God ensured he didn't make everyone to just be able to do the same thing. No. He distributed the gifts so we can come together and work to bring glory to him. Another important point is that God didn't make any gift to be above any. All are equal. None should boast that oh I have this gift and it's better than yours... no. God gave us gifts that are equal. Each gift depend on the other person to fulfill its purpose.
Takeaway: God has blessed us with different gifts equally. We need to use our gifts to glorify God so as to complete the body of Christ and fulfill our purpose on earth.
Prayer 🙏🏽 Lord thank you for life. Thank you for giving us gifts. I pray that you will help me to use my gift to glorify you. Allow me not to be boastful but to realize that all gifts are equal. I pray for any individual at this time that may not know their gift. I ask that you will reveal it to them. Allow them to use it to glorify you. Continue to shine your glory down on us. We thank you Lord once more for your gift. In Jesus name.
