My name is Laurier Elrod, heir of my father's throne in a kingdom of elves. And no, our kingdom's name is not Elftopia or Land of the Elves. That's gross. It's Cambrosia, a place hidden in the lush foliage of a forest feared by many neighbouring kingdoms. We're like our own shield. My father, the king, was never a fan of battle and weapons. I, on the other hand, love battles and going to war. I crave for it.
Being a prince is not that easy. I have a lot of duties especially since I'm the only one. To add to the burden, I'm also the commander of the royal army. Although I suppose it doesn't count as a burden since I enjoy it and being a prince has it's perks. Hehe.
Many people describe me as one of the most handsome elves in the kingdom. They're not wrong. I mean I literally have surreal lavender colored eyes inlaid with a tiny touch of indigo. My long silky white hair, usually worn in a braid or a high ponytail, is so soft and dreamy. My jaw line is perfect as well. I'm sure everyone would-"
"Are you done with your daily morning life speech to your wannabe fans?"
I gave a last glance to myself in the mirror, before turning to my stupid so-called best friend (who is also my secondary commander).
"No. But you just had to interrupt me, right Madden? You never cease to Madden me."
"If that was supposed to be a joke, I'm sorry, but that was the lamest thing I've ever heard," he groaned.
"Oh Madden. Why are you so Madden-ing? It's not my fault your name is so weird," I snickered.
"Whatever. Anyways your dad is calling you, so you better stop staring at yourself and go."
I groaned. "Ugh what does he want now?"
"Stop being a brat and go."
"Fine. But when I'll come back, I'll continue my life story, and this time you will be the audience," I replied with a smirk. What? I was in the mood to annoy this rock.
