Xiao led the way to this "special place". Then they reached a back part of the inn. It seemed to be a dead end. It seemed to be a rock with vines growing on it. Lumine looked a bit confused. Xiao just smiled at her expression. He slowly stepped behind those vines and offered Lumine his hand. She took it and they both stepped into the most beautiful little perfect place Lumine could have ever imagined. It was a quaint place with many big rocks here and there. A very small stream of water was flowing from the ground and disappearing somewhere else in the ground. There were many beautiful plants and local Liyue flowers there. But the thing that made this place more special were the crystal flies. It was full of them. But there were not only one kind of crystal flies. Both anemo and geo crystal flies fluttered there, their shimmering light illuminating everything in their path.

"C'mere.", Xiao muttered sitting on a rock. Lumine was meanwhile mesmerized. In all her travels around Teyvat and even in other universes, she had never seen anything like this. She slowly walked towards the rock, sat down and continued looking around in awe. Xiao meanwhile only had eyes for Lumine. He decided, he is going to confess over here, this was one of those rare moments when it was just be the two of them and no one to disturb or interrupt them. No Paimon being grumpy, no messenger getting more work for Lumine.

Xiao cleared his throat a bit, to get Lumine's attention on him. He honestly didn't know what he would say to confess to her, but he decided to just let his heart speak. "Well... I hope you are feeling better Lumine.", Xiao asked putting his hand on top of hers. Lumine looked towards him and nodded slowly. She looked at something behind Xiao and her eyes got wider than ever. "Look at them...", Lumine mumbled as she got up and walked towards some crystal flies. Except these were of two colours. The ocean blue and the gold brown merged with each other perfectly to create the unique and beautiful crystal flies. They seemed to be anemo-geo crystal flies.

"Looks like some anemo and geo crystal flies merged...", Xiao said. Lumine hummed softly in reply. "Do you...come here often?", Lumine asked. "Yes. I found this place by accident. I don't know whether it's the beauty or the abundance of elemental energy, but I feel a lot less pain here. Kinda like when I am with you."

"This place also reminds me of you, Lumine.", Xiao added in his mind.

"Traveler, L-lumine. I, I have to tell you something...", Xiao was getting more and more nervous by the second. Who knew that the Vigilant Yaksha might fear something like this? Or fear anything after all? Lumine nodded, motioning him to continue.

"I love you Lumine. I think- no wait- I know we are meant to be. We might not be all that similar, but I feel we are like the crystal flies. So different, yet, if we become one, we can create something so beautiful between us... so unique and amazing..." Lumine now was more shocked than ever. Was this really happening...? "Xiao, I- I love you too." And those were the only words needed by Xiao to pull Lumine to him and for both of them to attach their lips to the others'.

It had been 6 months. A lot had changed. The cold of Liyue had left, giving way to the beautiful mountain summer. A lot of events had taken place, a lot of places had been explored by Lumine with her brother. Meanwhile, Lumine had been missed a lot, by a certain someone. A lot of festivals came and went, most which Lumine convinced Xiao to come with her to. Lumine and Xiao's relationship had definitely improved and they had gotten a lot closer.

Everything was perfect. Except one thing. There was something wrong with Lumine. She would experience pain from time to time, in various parts of her body. At one time, it got to a point when she couldn't even walk properly on her own. Paimon suggested that she should go to Bubu Pharmacy and find something. The next day, when Lumine felt better, she set out for Bubu Pharmacy. But she couldn't find anything. On her way back to Wangshu Inn (where she was currently staying in with her brother), she ran into Zhongli. He asked her how she was and Lumine told him about the strange pain.
