You open your eyes to see light shining through the curtains in your room. You saw a message notification from your phone. Stretching your hand lazily to grab your phone, you turned the phone on to see your best friend, Yin Tan.

Hey! Y/n rumours say that a new classmate is joining our class today!

I heard he is hot!

Upon reading Yin Tan's messages, you quickly prepare to go to school, picking the best outfit you have in your wardrobe.After that, you immediately rush out of your home.

At school

"Good morning everyone, please welcome our new student, Kaiden. He will be studying with us from now on. Please be kind to him. Kaiden, please sit at the seat near Y/n." Mr Tong said. You look up from your seat, seeing the familiar face you saw from yesterday. He glances at you and you make eye contact with him. Once he settles down at the desk beside you, he turns and says in a cheery voice, "Hello Y/n, i believe the last time we saw each other was when we bumped into each other yesterday at the park! Let's get to know each other, I'm Kaiden, but you can call me Kai!" he once again stretches out his hand for a hand shake.

You stretch out your hand shakily, while saying in a small voice "H-hello, I'm Y/n, nice to meet you..." After chatting with him for a while, you learnt that he was previously studying at a school from the east and just recently moved into the city you two were in.

"Ring!..." The recess bell rang. Everybody dispersed to their own spots to hangout with their friends. You were walking with Yin Tan to your lockers. "Hey Y/n, I saw you and that Kaiden boy getting close with each other during Mr Tong's class, so, what stage are you guys in now?" Yin Tan asked playfully.

You blushed after hearing that denying that you and Kaiden were together and was only talking to each other. Suddenly, someone lightly taps your shoulder. You turn around to see Kaiden standing behind you, "May I talk to you for a second?Please?" he asks shyly.After seeing this, Yin Tan happily left you two to chat amongst yourselves. You quietly sigh as you were unhappy that even your best friend has left you all alone. You looked back at Kaiden and nodded your head.

"As you know, I'm a new student here, so I barely know anybody here..Could I maybe hang out with you and your friend? If your comfortable, that is." He says. You thought for a moment, and agreed to his request. The moment he smiled, your heart skipped a beat. You heard your phone buzz, and immediately looked at it.
