5- worry🤧

The next day, you completely ignored Kaiden, but you noticed that he was looking at you the whole time during History class. You rolled your eyes and tried to ignore him. During recess, when you tried to find him to apologize, you didn't see him. So you approached one of your classmstes and they said Kaiden had went home not long ago, because he had some personal matters.

You thought to yourself, 'Personal matters?..Is there something bad going on at home for him?..I feel bad storming away now..Hopefully he doesn't ignore me?'. During the next class, thoughts of bad things that could be happening at home for him played through your mind. You just couldn't stop worrying about him.

"Y/N! ARE YOU EVEN PAYING ATTENTION?" Your teacher, Mrs Ravi snapped. "Huh- O-oh yes I-I am." You stuttered. "Okay, then tell me what's the answer for Question 17?" She asked,folding her arms. "Uh-..." You didn't know what to say so you just stood still.

"3.5?..." You said, knowing that you were going to be having a long scolding from Mrs Ravi after class. "Y/n, they said how many dogs were there in the end. HOW DID YOU EVEN GET 3.5?" Mrs Ravi shouted.She was clearly disappointed in you as you were one of her favourite students as you were always punctual and paying attention to class. After class, she had asked you to see her in the Teachers' Lounge.

_After class_

You followed Mrs Ravi to the Teachers' Lounge and she told you to sit down. "Y/n.. Are you okay? You seem abit off today." Mrs Ravi asked with a concerned look on her face. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about something that happened earlier." You said. "Do you perhaps want to talk to me about it?" "Nah, I'm fine."

"You see Y/n, I'm not trying to scold you or anything now, it's just that your exams are coming up very soon, and I want you to focus on them rather than have your mind somewhere else.You're not usually this distracted, you realise that? It must be something very important isnt it? Maybe if you tell me, I could help?" Mrs Ravi said worriedly.

"No, I'm fine, nothing important, no need to stress over it. I promise I will focus on the exam and in class." You said, wanting the conversation to be over.

"Okay then...But if you want to tell me, I'm always here for you." Mrs Ravi replied.

"Thanks, I'll be going back to class now?" You told her and she nodded her head. You dragged your feet out of the Teachers' Lounge as the thought of what happened to Kaiden came back rushing to you. "Ugh, it's probably nothing. Why am I even worrying about him in the first place? It's not like I care.." you thought.

The rest of the school day was boring without Kaiden there to annoy you. You felt as if time had slowed down without the jokes and small interesting conversations you and Kaiden would usually talk about. Where was he? Is he alright?
