6- finally back(?)

The next few days, Kaiden didn't turn up for school. As days passed, you kept thinking about him. At night, you didn't sleep. All you did was think about what happened to Kaiden. That resulted into your attitude in school to change. You used to always hand in homework on time, listen to class attentively and answer all the questions that your teacher asked. But now, you wouldn't hand in homework on time. When your teacher asked you to answer a question, you would either ignore him / her or answer randomly.

It felt like as if Kaiden had taken over your mind. You decided to just ignore that fact and carry on with your horrible day.

Finally, during lunchtime, Yin Tan, approached you. "Y/n.. I know these days we haven't been talking that much but I've been watching you. Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah, I am.." you muttered under your breath.

"Look, Y/n, you haven't be-" "I said im fine." You cut her off sternly, feeling very annoyed with the amount of questions asking if you were OK. You knew they were just worried about you and wanted the best for you, but it was just too overwhelming.

Yin Tan just stood there in shock of how much you've changed. That's when she realised the reason, Kaiden.

"Hey..Y/n, I'm sure Kaiden is fine. He isn't that weak, you know? How about you message him to hang out?" Yin Tan said trying to cheer you up. "Messaged him, didn't reply..." You replied disheartened. "Try again? Maybe he'll reply!" Yin Tan said.

Little did you know, Yin Tan had predicted correctly.

You smiled as you put down your phone. "So?" Yin Tan asked. "Me and Kaiden are going to Coco's Café later!" You said excitedly. "Wow, that's cool." she said, feeling happy for you.

After school you went home, rummaging through your closet finding the perfect outfit to wear to the café. You were finally going to see Kaiden again,you silently prayed he was still as carefree as usual even after not coming to class for a couple days due to personal matters.
