Part 4

"Then shall we proceed..." Albedo said with almost an unnoticeable smirk.
I smiled back to him as I used his hand to get up.

Time skip to the experiment location

We arrived at a pretty spacious location. It was covered in snow which I thought might get in the way of fighting but I assumed that it was a part of the experiment. Then I noticed a ley line and a few lit torches beside it.
"Y/n, prepare yourself for the battle. I just need to get a few things ready and then we can begin."
"Okay."
I saw Albedo pull out a few pieces of paper as well as a pen. I assumed that it was to record the result of this experiment.
I decided to go ahead and warm up a little for the battle since it was pretty cold outside and I didn't want to risk getting injured. I did a couple of simple stretches and then checked my sword to make sure it's testy for the battle.
"Ok Y/n. You can begin whenever you are ready."
I came up to the ley line and took a deep breath. You can do this ms. Ma'am. I activated the let line and saw the first group of hilichurls charging at me. I got into a fighting position and prepared my anemo attack. As soon as the enemies were close enough, I hit them with one strike and because my sword was charged with the power of anemo, it sent all of them flying. 1/3.
I saw the second group appear and before they could do anything I was already using my strong sword skills to kill them.
At this time, Albedo was closely watching me. The way I strike the opponents, how I charge my sword with the power of anemo, the way I bend my body to dodge the attacks.he was paying attention to every single move of my body. it felt strange, yet i liked it. it was exactly what i wanted, all of his attention focused on me only. i wanted to make this moment last longer...

as i killed off the second group of hilichurls, the final four opponents showed up. even though i was enjoying Albedo's stares, i felt exhausted from a long day of fighting so i decided to finish this quickly by using my ult to defeat the last four enemies. as they approach closer, i release my ult and it creates a big tornado, which sucks the hilichurls in, killing them in the process. the ley line has closed indicating that it was complete and as i fixed myself up Albedo came up to me.

"so how are the results?" i asked.

"well, i can most certainly say that you are pretty strong and must have had a good teacher."

"oh, yeah i guess, but what about me being able to use the power of anemo without a vision?"

"ah yes, on that... well the results indicate that you use anemo as any other vision holder. meaning you are able to extract as much power from it as a person with vision. and you also manage to control it well despite not knowing how exactly you got this power. as to why you are able to use it... i have nooo idea :)"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

"that's exactly what i mean. i was not able to determine why you can use this power without a vision."

"SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT I DID ALL THAT WORK FOR NOTHING?!"

"basically."

"UGHHHHHHHHHH."

"but hey, i most certainly enjoyed watching you~" Albedo said with a change of tone which took me by surprise.

"i- you perv..." i said with an angry pouty face.

"maybe, but let me make it up to you Y/N. how about i convince Jean to give you a day off tomorrow and then we can spend the entire day together?"

"and what makes you think that i'd want to spend my day off with a perv like you?"

albedo came u closer to me and whispered into my ear.

"Because you're no better than me Y/N. imagining those little scenarios in your head while trying to act all innocent and focused on your tasks. i see right through you Y/N, it's useless hiding it from me."

my face flushed bright red. was i seriously that obvious with it? h-how did he read me so easily? how does he know all this?"

"w-were you stalking me this entire time?"

"as i said earlier, you're a worthy subject of my attention, and watching you is pretty amusing to say the least~"

"w-whatever..." i turned my head away in embarrassment.

"go home and rest up Y/N. you're going to need lots of strengths for tomorrow. and make sure to meet me at the crafting station tomorrow."

"o-ok."

"good night Y/n."

"good night Albedo..."

Now, what the fuck was all that? and that's exactly the question i ended up thinking about all night. this man is something else and maybe some might find what he's doing creepy but it amazes me. he is truly a fine specimen and ya'll best believe I'm claiming this man all to myself...
