LIt was the day of the date with Jimin. He had told you to meet him at this secluded park at about two o'clock. You got ready that morning, as you told Anna about the situation. She followed you around while you got ready. She agreed that it was a good idea to give him a chance. You didn't know what could happen, where this could go.
You wanted to dress just as nicely on this date as the one with Ji-hoon, so you chose a similar outfit. Once you were dressed, perfumed, and made up, you went out the door. Anna wished you good luck. You crawled into your car and drove to the address Jimin provided. When you pulled into the parking lot, you saw him. He was leaning up against a black SUV with his arms crossed and his head down. He looked so handsome; it was shocking. He was dressed so nice.
You got out of your car, and he greeted you with that angelic smile. You couldn't help but smile back. You walked up to him. "Okay, what are we doing?" You were wondering why you were at a park that hardly anyone ever visited. He gave you a big smile. "I thought we could walk around the park, and then go see a movie." He beamed at you. He seemed like an entirely different person from the jealous version the other day. You liked this Jimin.
"Sounds good." You answered and you both took off walking around the park. You followed the thin concrete walkway. "Do you work?" Jimin asked you, wondering how you had so much free time. "Nah, my mom pays for everything while I'm in school. She said she wants me to focus on school and nothing else." You offered him a smile with your explanation.
"That must be nice." He said smiling gently. "What about you?" You asked him, you had been surprised you hadn't asked him yet. He was probably a model. "I'm actually a singer and dancer." He told you, not entirely lying. You stopped walking and stared at him. "Of course you are! Your singing is amazing! I need to see you dance sometime." He looked away shyly. "Sing me something again, please. Your voice is so beautiful." He blushed a small amount. It's been a while since he had been shy. He was always so confident until it came to his singing.
"No, no, no!" He shook both of his hands laughing, embarrassed. You pouted and he looked at your lip. "Okay." He gave in. He began singing, lyrics that were so beautiful, but sad. You didn't know it at the time, but the lyrics were to the BTS song "The Truth Untold."
Jimin sang it wonderfully, you tried to fight the tears that filled up your eyes. For some reason, the song sounded so sad, you couldn't help but feel emotionally overwhelmed. A single tear escaped and rolled down your cheek. You quickly patted it dry with your sleeve. Jimin gave you a gentle look, he seemed pleased that you took his singing to heart. It was a sad song, but he must have sung it just right.
You sniffled. "What song is that?" He told you, and you thought to yourself how you hadn't heard it. "I'll have to look it up when I get home." You said and Jimin couldn't help but giggle. It wasn't long now, until you knew who he really was. Jimin wondered if you would see him differently once you knew the truth. He hoped not.
