Here I am walking to school with my best friend and her boyfriend. They had been dating for a little while but I think that they are still trying to hide the fact that they are even together.
I know that they had been dating since the first day they really have hung out with each other. I first heard it when she came to my house through the window. I was not very happy with who she was dating. But she sounded so happy and that is what I really cared about.
My best friend is Millie. We have known each other since she moved in the house across the street when we were in 4th grade we have gone through everything together. But now it looks like she is moving on without me.
She is moving on into the only thing we haven't been through. Love. I always thought that we would never have to deal with anything like that. That it was just going to be me and her forever. With nothing to stop us. But I guess that I was wrong.
That boy was just coming into the picture like there was no problem with it. Well I think there really is a problem. He took my best friend away from me. He never really cared about her until she matured more.
I had known him since 1st grade and he was never the guy that I pictured Millie to end up with. She was always nice and cheerful even with what she was going through at home. He was the complete opposite of what she was like. His attitude was like what was going on at his house followed him to school.
"Conan?" I heard Millie and snapped out of my daydream. "Are you gonna go to the party over at Harry's house tonight?"
"Uh, it depends on how much homework I get. But if I don't really have much I will let you know." I smiled
"Ha bro," the friend-stealing dude Bill laughed, "You better not have much homework. The party is going to be lit."
He had been acting like the bad history behind us was nothing. He always acted different when we were with Millie. When we were with her he was always acting dumb. When we weren't that is when he would act like he did when we were younger.

Things were changing and I could really see it. All I know is that I had to be careful what Bill does to Millie because I do not want him to hurt her by any way. All I want is Millie to be safe and happy without anybody breaking her heart.
