4. Comfort Crowd

Sorry it has been forever without writing this story. But I kinda had a writers block on this one. I will try to work on this one a little more. Happy Reading. 

The next day I had a small headache but I knew that I could just take some Advil or something for it. I looked at my clock and it was about 9. 
I could here my sister in the living room watching TV so I knew that I should get up. 

I knew that I should have wore something presentable for my grandma but I knew that she wouldn't try saying anything about what I where. She was always one to say that we have to be who we are and not what others expect us to be.

Going downstairs my sister had noticed me. 
"Good morning Conan." she said suspiciously. 

"Good morning. Is everything alright?" I asked. I figured that she was being this way due to what she watching on tv with my mom.  "Is mom going to pick Grandma up from the airport?" 

"Yes everything is fine and yes mom went to pick up Grandma up." she said in reply. "So how was that party with Millie? You look like you are going to fall over. I didn't think that you were one to drink." 

"The party was fine and I didn't drink that much. You should know to expect many things from people." I replied walking into the kitchen. Olivia following close behind me. 
I had then noticed the note that my mom had left me on the fridge. 

Conan and Olivia, 

I am going to pick Grandma up from the airport and probably won't be home until around 4 or 5 this evening. 
If you guys want to go out for the day that is fine with me. 
Love you and see you tonight. 

Mom. 

P.S. Don't eat all the cookies. I have some in a bag in the pantry for you guys but the ones in the container on the counter are for Grandma. 

"So do you want to go to the mall or something later?" I asked Olivia as I grabbed some coffee and some meds for my headache. 
"Yeah, but can we see if Millie can go with us?" she asked. 

I called Millie to see if she wanted to go out with us. Turned out to be a no because of that ass Bill taking her to the bowling alley with his friends and some of the girls that she knew because they were also in cheer. 

"Hey Liv." I called for my sister who had just went upstairs to change since she was still in Pajamas. 
"So what did she say?" she said as she ran downstairs now changed. 
"She is going out with the prick today so she cannot come with us, but I am thinking that maybe we can go out just me and you. I know that mom doesn't normally let you have coffee, so do you want to go to the coffee shop?" 

"Yes!" she started jumping around. "Wait. You already got coffee right there." she stopped and pointed at my cup on the counter. 
"It is cold. Mom left early this morning and it got cold." I replied truthfully. 

After about an hour we left the house to head to the coffee shop that was downtown. We still weren't very far from it which was okay with me because I didn't drive. We got to the coffee shop and I ordered what I usually did as well as a pistachio muffin and my sister chose to get iced coffee and a donut. 

"Well for being like the first time I have had coffee, I think that it isn't that bad." she said as she drank her coffee. 
"Glad you like it. But don't make it a habit. Mom will not like me for getting you into coffee." I told her as we walked outside to go home. 

"Alright. I am excited to see grandma. We haven't seen her in a while. Should we get her a gift from the mall?" she asked. 
"Maybe. It depends on what you want to get her." I laughed. "Maybe we should get her a crop top as a joke." 

Olivia started laughing. "Great idea. And maybe we should get like a candle or perfume for her as well so she doesn't think that we thought she would actually want the shirt."  
"Yeah. We can get her something from Bath and Body works or something." I said as we got home. 

We then went to the mall to walk around and go shopping.
